    oo a purty number....

Flying. I have decluttered dog poo from my front lawn.

    I don't have a dog.
    grrr

You have been busy (I mean the posting, not the dog-poo removal - I have the same problem myself and am thinking of borrowing soappie's webcam to find out who is letting their dog cr*p on my lawn on a regular basis!)

You'd think a certain friend would have been round by now with cakes and pressies or kittens to stroke or summat....and she only lives a few streets away...:whistle::think::A

Maybe she hasn't been round because she doesn't want to be nagged :p:p

I've hoovered the inside of the car, which has needed doing for ages, and emptied the hoover. Just stopping for lunch (miso soup) as I had breakfast at 12.30!!! Then I might do the surfaces inside the car, and possibly (although it may have to wait till tomorrow) wash the remains of the beach off the car ... how come sand sticks?!

    Says you, yer cheeky monkey!:rotfl::p

I want some of those delicious looking cakes that Pen Penguin posted, yum. I may make some cakes when I get up in a mo.

I also think it's time to start stocking up on the coal, wood and firelighters for the fire, its definitely chillier today.

I also should make some pies in my pie maker, easy for packed lunches etc.
Will lie herefor a bit longer and then get up, dunno why I bothered getting dressed today, seemed a bit pointless.:rotfl:

Workmen have gone but I can't face starting anything now, plus they haven't really finished in any room yet. Will see how it goes when I get in from work tomorrow but I think I will probably be getting things done from Wednesday onwards.

No, sadly not, I got mine from ebay but you can buy them new from here.

Thanks to Lil me for the original link to here. I bought Breville one second hand but they look identical to the ones from studio.

I think I'll do some cheese and onion pies later.

    Hi everyone!
Back from work now and ready for another week. It's all quiet on the western front this week so hopefully I'll be super organised and on top of things!! I've got to get back on my wii exercise whatjig this week as well cos I'm going to a wedding in three weeks and would like to look fabulous (well, sort of less haggard at least) so wish me luck with that one. Having a bit of a downer at work too so hoping I can at least get motivated at home and that will make me feel loads better.
    DONE!

    Plus
put another coat on bedroom and wardrobe doors - that blue is taking some covering (still got the walls to do)
Finally put stick-on edging on study shelves.

Blimus, our WTC has been taken off us since last month as apparently they were working against DH's LAST YEARS salary, which was only about 4 months worth as he started his job mid-year (hope this makes sense). They also took into account a bonus which he wont get this year. We rung WTC and told them there would be no bonus but the adjustment wont take effect until after next April when its all recalculated again. So I think your sis is right in that any changes dont come into effect until the next April. We are now about £460 down each month which is really worrying and at the moment just trying to seriously cut down on everything.

    HTH x

choccybix - thanks for this advice. If it won't come into effect until next year then it wouldn't be as bad as losing the £400 PLUS a drop in WFTCat once. Being self-employed, we can usually find extra jobs when money gets particularly tight but we haven't had to cover this amount before and not in this current financial climate - so that's worrying me.
My head was buzzing so badly earlier and I couldn't think straight but a few hours have passed and I'm now starting to look at the problem bit by bit. Thanks again. x
