I think I know who your neighbour is....is it Andy Carroll [Newcastle player]????
I ask as I notice he's had his Range rover petrol bombed..is this related to your problem?? lolHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Put a big bin in the area where most of them land ,add a big 'Aim Here' sign and bring the bin round to him each week to congratulate him on how many hit the target then ask him to empty the bin?0

I am at a loss what to do about my next door neighbour constantly throwing his cigarette butts into my garden, every day for the past 6 Months he constantly and deliberately throws them from out of his window directly into my garden, right in front of my back door.
He is aware of what he is doing but does not care one bit (he sees it as some joke), I have tried the polite bit to no avail, I am now at the point of throwing them back over to him, but still he proceeds to do it.
This is going on daily and constantly, I should not have to deal with his litter, all I want is for him to stop, I am sorely tempted to empty my bin over the wall into his garden, but that would only make me as bad as him.
Is their anyone I can complain to to stop this charade, its become way beyond a joke.
I live in a quiet and decent cul-de-sac, all privately owned houses, so it is not as if I can complain to the housing.
Get a (smoker) friend to save up their cig ends for a couple for weeks and then dump the whole lot right outside his door.0 -
As marleyboy had this problem almost 2 years ago, I would have hoped that one way or another it had been sorted out by now.0

Would love to know if Marleyboy ever sorted the problem...0

I would also really love to know how it was resolved as I'm having a similar problem.
We have bought our house, next door the house has recently been rented out, but we know the owners and get on well with them. Anyway, ever since the renters moved in our garden has rubbish in it a few times a week, a few weeks ago it was a vodka bottle and coke cans, at the weekend it was cans of coke and food, this morning it was 2 cans of coke. Hubbie has been wanting to go in from day one, I said no because I think it's a bit petty - but I think it's getting too regular now. I think it's their teenage son, we no he has the bedroom at the back of the house.
What do you all think? Too petty to mention, or worth getting sorted?

Personally for the OP I would have retaliated a long time ago if it was something as low-level as cigarette ends. When F1 Motor racing was still on the BBC and the previous set of rental tenants downstairs deliberately put on her radio at 6am every single day, I fired up the Motor Racing, one of the races with a time difference live at 6am, for 20 minutes live at full blast at the same time. Never heard the radio again. You have to show nasty neighbours that you're willing to be just as nasty, then they back down.

Myrtle, are you still in contact with the owners? Could you mention to them what their tenants are doing and get them to have a word?0
