  • All gone..........no wonder I ended up over 7 stone overweight!!! Half way there though, its moving slowly!!! (The weight not the cookies, they were moving towards my lips at an alarming rate!!!)

I worry myself sick too :(, I have a DFD date of nearly 4 years, so don't feel too bad about your 2!!! But I have well and truly faced up to it this time (I have a history of having a lightbulb moment and then my bulb blows, this time though I have energy saving ones and they are supposed to last years longer :rotfl:) Hey I've just realised if I get a GTP, then I will be qualified in 2011 which means my wages will increase by £7k, my DFD would move to 2.7 years with that much extra to chuck at it :T. Right, I am off to find a list of primarys to letter drop about taking me on as a GTP in Sept 2010.........

Lets all be slimmer by xmas, its one less thing to be worried about! Just someone please come and remove all cr%^ from my cupboards, I don't even really like biscuits but there was nothing else there that would satisfy my need for a binge!

Yes, I agree lets all go for it! I know we can do it. :) Yesterday for me it was a foot long subway!! so lets get focused!

As for the lightbulbs :rotfl: I hear they last for 6 years so you're ok there! I also get to the point where I worry sick and just cant sleep - maybe we should all change our lightbulbs to make sure we carry on.. and we can help each other!

  • Said it was going to be my lucky week, have got myself a cleaning job.......YAY!!! :T I can pay for Germany without soliciting myself :rotfl:.

Picked some fresh sweetcorn from my allotment, so off to cook that in a second, am giving my allotment up this year, I just don't have time to get on top of it, it looks like the lost gardens of heligan at the moment (before they found it!!) so am sharing with a friend who can't cope with hers on her own anymore, I'll give her 4 hours per month on the allotment in exchange for anything I want, with the two of us working on it it should be a really productive plot so next year I'll have fresh fruit and veg coming out of every orifice and I won't have to stress if I can't get up there for a few weeks as she is doing the day-to-day stuff while I get to do the hard labour!!!

Right, am off to cook my freshly picked sweetcorn :T

  • Okay, now that titles got your attention I better explain!! :rotfl:

I decided I wasn't anal enough about my spending and have set up a basic spending spreadsheet for the month thus far, when I have written my essays (no, they are not done yet and I need to post them on tuesday or wednesday) I am going to make some amazing magic spreadsheets for everything, but I don't have time to do it at the moment!

I've been writing every penny I have spent so for this month and its certainly highlighted where I need to cut back........
    • Food - £118.37 (I don't think this is too bad for 4 of us)
    • Elec - £18 (but need to put some more on today)
    • Gas - £4 (ditto)
    • Petrol - £80.01
    • Kids - £95.28 (school stuff, trips and clubs)
    • Magazines - £7.57 :o
    • Mobile - £5.00
    • Canteen - £10.00 (GOTTA STOP THIS - THIS IS BAAAAD!!)
    • Misc - £19.16 (bits and bobs that don't fit in the above!)
    So the conclusions I have come to are this;
    • It's not as bad as I thought it would have been, so am fairly ok with it!
    • No more food from the canteen, there's no need for this I just need to make sure I am more organised now my frozen meals have all gone
    • The misc so far has been things like a dvd of a show my DD was in and I have been so stressed recently about £7 of it is sweets (for me) so I need to cut back on this too especially cos of the weight loss challenge
    • I can't cut back any more on petrol, there is no-one to car share with and I have cut right back on non-essential journeys and have been walking to the shops etc
    • My kids are costing me a fortune so am going to see if Elton John will give me a good price, it could sort out all my money problems in one swoop, my debts would be gone, I could buy a house and I wouldn't be paying out £25+ a week just on 'stuff' for schools, clubs etc etc etc :rotfl:I could live the life of riley!
Anyways, am off to my mates for our friday night chat

    xx
