Palema Ive started card making so I guess scrapbooking was the next step anyway I'll have to search around for a christmassy scrap booking kit to help start me off

Emzy81 - Perhaps you and OH could take it in turns making the elf do something?, surprise each other! I have visions of the elves still coming to visit us when my kids are grown up and of us all trying to out do eachother with outrageous/funny elf antics!

Lexuslass - I've set up my elves with facebook too but can't find Bertie, Bauble or Dixie when I search!

I've started my blog already but can't post a link cause I'm a new user (new to posting not MSE, took Christmas elves to get me to post lol!) I've put the address on my profile so hopefully it can be found that way.

how bizarre... After checking all the account settings (which all seemed ok), I have just found Bertie Elfkins!!

Berryjingles - If you type in just "Elfkins" and then click on all people results, he was about the 7th one down.

So, Yummy-mummy-amy, Bertie has a friend request from Dixie Crackerjingles .

I tried to do exactly the same thing with Baubles facebook and it couldn't find Bertie!!

thanks. i have been told by people on another site bertie cant be found either, so i will go and check security settings when my monsters are in bed as they dont know he has it yet!!!

i will accept any requests at the same time.

Lexuslass - Thanks, the elves are the aurora ones from ebay, think quite a lot of people have got them. I just personalised them a bit.

how exciting!! 35 days to go till ours arrive!

I am useless at trying to load piccies on here and I certainly do not have the imagination to create a blog even half as good as some of you! So Facebook was the obvious choice for me - although I have only got around to setting them up and haven't filled out all the info for them yet!

my two keep asking if the elves are coming and I can't deny I am not 'using' it when they start bickering "you do know santa is watching to make sure you are good... he may not send the elves this year!!!"

i cant wait for him to arrive BUT i could be moving house at any point between now and dec 10th as long as all goes ok, so i cant really plan anything - bertie may well turn up here to be sent on an URGENT mission back at north pole, only to be sent via royal mail next day signed for to new house!

I've done it, I've gone and set our Elf a blog up, he's called Marvin Moonkin, we've not actually bought him yet, going to buy the American Elf on the Shelf one - so excited.
