Queenbee love the name of your elf!!
My 2 year old phoned her Daddy tonight and told him that jolly sugar socks was living with us and was going to sleep in daddys bed (when she says this she means daddys side of the bed lol) Thing that gets me is I struggle to say our elfs name but she is crystal clear saying it!!!
I have put the kiddies piggybanks upside down and one on its snout and also OH's terramundi on its side and then put loads of loose change around it and took a photo, I also put him on top of our TV leaning over the top, both kids know they are NOT allowed to touch the tv :rotfl: ... I am thinking of hiding him in the fridge and leaving a clue for the kids to find him (mainly DS as DD is too little) ... I have some christmassy lollipops from home bargains so I could do that and put some milkshake made up ready for them in the fridge. I think I will get their clothes ready but put DD's socks and nappy pants in DS's pile and vice versa then make up a little name sign and place it on top!! .... then it looks like the elf was trying tohelp!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
wow the personalised passport idea is fab!
I've written a letter from santa that's going to be printed off and arrive tomorrow- was going to do it today but both ds and dd have been poorly. Hopefully if they are ok tomorrow i will pop out and get a journal and try and sort the passport then we will be ready for action!!!
I'll be blogging the antics on my "normal " blog rather than setting up a new one- https://www.amoregreenandsimplelife.blogspot.comWord for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗0 -
Can I just say, I don't have kids (I have my own grown up elf, who sits on the sofa playing video games and eating Pepparamis!) but I am loving reading about the exploits of all the elves. Keep it up, it's getting me into a lovely Christmas mood.0

Jinky the reindeer has written in the book for tomorrow. He's gone mountaineering up the sculpture on the wall and he's been on the webcam to his pal, Peter the Polar Bear (just put a piccie of a polar bear on the computer and took a photo of Jinky sitting next to the computer). He's also listed what he wants to do: watch the Snowman before school, have hot chocolate again before school, make another decoration after school and go for a drive to look for Christmas lights.
DD was a sweetie tonight. Her hamster isn't very well. She's asked if I can take a picture of Jinky with the hamster just incase she doesn't make it and then she will have had a last bit of fun.....I wanted to cry! xx0 -
I think that if Ralph stole the chocs from my boys' calendars he'd be straight out on his ear!
She was caught with a choccie coin from the wooden train calendar ( has little drawers! ) .....DD's words were " It is a good job we found out now or she might have eaten them all!!"
Antics tonight include 'sewing' a nightie - DD was concerned about her going to bed in her clothes!!!
Tomorrow I think she will make snowflakes to remind her of home and I got a snowstorm thing you put a photo in - will cut a piccie of the Big Man himself and put in !!
We have already had sad tear filled eyes at the thought of her leaving on Xmas Eve...... it has certainly sprinkled some Chrimbo magic in our neck of the woods! ( I was up early this morning 'helping' some elves arrive at friends houses .... and one through the post to my sister and her 2 girls ):A
Thanx to lexuslass for the elf name place:jPobodys Nerfect:j0 -
Elf arrived this morning and was found climbing out of the fireplace. It was so funny when my little boy went into the sitting room, looked wide eyed at the elf and said to me "sssshhhhhh come in DS2s room" then said " the elf is here - can I go and help him?"
He wanted to take him to school but said that everyone couldn't play with him because he would lose all his magic and have to go back to the North Pole!
I'm putting the tree up tomorrow and tonight the elf (Christopher!! - dont ask!) went to bed with DS1 but has just got up and has put DS1s school top on!!!!:DMBNA [STRIKE]£2,029[/STRIKE] £1,145 Virgin [STRIKE]£8,712[/STRIKE] £7,957 Sainsbury [STRIKE]£6,870[/STRIKE] £5,575 M&S [STRIKE]£10,016[/STRIKE] £9,690 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£11,951[/STRIKE] £11,628 CTC [STRIKE]£7,629[/STRIKE] £6,789 Mortgage £[STRIKE]182,828[/STRIKE] £171,670
