Morning all
I'm a relative newbie OS poster.
Today I woke up early so put the washing out to dry on my balcony, it's a wash of towels and bedding so have had to drape the duvet cover over my chairs as the airer was full of towels.
Good thing I was up early cos next door neighbour started playing loudish music at 9am! But it's not bad music so I can put up with it!
I get the sun on my balcony til around 1pm so am going to sit in the few spare washing-free feet left and read my book.
Then I plan to pop to shops for a few bits, then go for a bike ride on the bike my Dad has donated to me. I live by the sea so am going to explore the coastal path, and hopefully get to the country park where I can go blackberry picking.
Then tonight I'm going to batch cook some meals for this week as I'm on a course tuesday and wedsnesday so will be back late and not in mood to cook.
Hope you all have a fab sunday

Good morning guys,
An absoloutely gorgeous day here today. I hope to get the fence finally finished today. I was a busy bee yesterday -the kitchen windows are 3 very different sizes and I spent the afternoon altering the new curtains and hanging them - I did a mountain of ironing, went to the market, put away an Asda shop and also emptied the pots and tidied the front garden as well as the ususal daily stuff.
I bought 2 large pork joints in the market for £12 so one is in the freezer and the other will go in the oven later for a roast. I have some huge parsnips to go with the carrots and broccoli and a rice pudding in the SC. Lunch will be toms on toast.
LO is loving full time school and came home with a gold award on Friday for good behaviour all week so he was suitably rewarded with a large bar of chocolate. The two eldest are fine and enjoying being back too.
Belated happy birthday to those I have missed, Mioliere and Mrs-mix are two that I remember reading over the week. I hope you all had good ones.
I also am concerned about Sunnygirl given her last post was when she was poorly. I hope Betheebee is OK too.
Gentle hugs to pen-pin, Sistercases 2 dd's, NPM and anyone else in need today. I hope you all enjoy the lovely weather. Ooh! and welcome to all the new posters.

I wondered where you were yesterday, we missed you!
I often watch 'Sea, Sand and Bargainhunting' where they send people out to France to buy goods to re-sell over here and they always seem to find the most amazing things in French markets and second hand shops. Did you buy anything in your rummage?
Treacle fat cat is hassling me for more food (only fed her about 30 mins ago). She likes to eat little and often so I better go sort her out and then come back and see if Tris has logged on.

I only bought knitting wool and some brand-new baby vests! Our visitors bought a French bread cupboard thingy and a lamp! Will be going for a longer rummage on my own later this week!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Hi Guys!
I hope everyone is well and keeping okay.
Its been an emotional and draining 48hrs visiting a sick relative who I probably wont see again as they are visiting from quite far away. We stayed locally for the night in a B&B as I didnt want to stay with family and everyone met up on Friday. It was horrible and morbid and I came away drained and cried all the way home in the car. Bought back many bad memories and cant seem to shake stuff from my head. I'm feeling very rough and tired today.
It was my birthday this week too, so it's not going to be one to remember for a nice reason. No proper celebrating this year.....never mind!
Anyway, Beef joint is in the SC and OH has peeled 3 HUGE maris pipers and prepped a cauli to do cauli cheese later with it. Think I will do HM yorkies with it and make some thick gravy. Have some goose fat for the spuds, so looking forward to dinner later.
Hugs to all in need.

Morning all :hello:
Sorry haven't had time to catch up with everyone's posts, things have been a bit hectic.
DS2's behaviour got even worse in school, and I insisted that the doctor referred him for assessment for ADHD. So he has been referred to the Child Mental Health Team (that sounds awful doesn't it?). Had a meeting with his class teacher and the Headmaster, which was quite productive. I just feel completely lost as to what to do though!
Anyway they are all at Sunday School at the moment and I am cooking Sunday Lunch (and sneaking on here). After lunch we are taking DS1's friend with us to the cinema and then to McDonalds as DS1's birthday treat. We are going to see G Force in 3D, hope it isn't too scary!
Hope you all have a good day x0 -

Blackberry Crumble
Google is wonderful;) there is also a search facility on this board.
Noahspennilessmum I do hope you are feeling brighter today:grouphug: It must be like banging your head against a brick wall sometimes but all kids make their mums feel like poo sometimes-bless them:rolleyes:
OSiness stuff today. See I'm still using your word Kitchen Bunny:D
Beans on toast for lunch courtesy of ds2 who is going to learn how to open tins and slice bread. Ds1 will be absent for lunch as he has gone Warhammering (toy soldiers) and will buy himself something to eat in Worcester, he has to pay for it himself though;)
Supper will be parmesan chicken as mentioned yesterday. I think it was Essex Girl asking? I've made it before EG and it was yummy. One tip though don't be tempted to dump all the chicken pieces into the melted butter at once because the cold chicken will make the butter hard and lumpy -ask me how I know :doh:. Dip 2 or 3 at a time.
I'm serving it with potato wedges, salad and peas.
We have leftover deconstructed cheesecake for pudding which was very nice btw.
I ought to do some baking for the lunchboxes today. Maybe some rolls and perhaps some biscuits.
Have laundry to take off the line and more to put on. It never stops:rolleyes:0 -
Afternoon everyone :hello:
Trying to get ahead of myself today so I can concentrate on the office this week so have prepped a huge shoulder of lamb for tonight and peeled the spuds, carrots, parsnip and brocolli to go with it. Have also reduced some wine for the gravy and made the yorkie batter. While I was at it I sauteed onions, carrots and parsnips to add to the leftover lamb for tommorrow's shepherd's pie and peeled the spuds for that too so it will just be an assembly job tommorrow as we have a busy evening. Will roast a chicken while the lamb is in the oven to turn into chicken curry for Tuesday night and the rest of the weeks meals are easy enough.
Took some fairy cakes and muffins out of the freezer and made some more yoghurt for the lunchboxes.
Just going to hang out another load of washing, hoover through and wash the floors before hitting the beach with the girls and the dog. Anything to keep her off OH's leg ;):D.
Cleared the decking yesterday and planted up some viola and cyclamen so it is looking bright again. Will spend the evening up there with a bottle of wine and OH and hopefully a beautiful sunset over the bay.
Sorry to hear about your frustrations with your DSs HelyG and NPM. No real advice but take care. x
So pleased LO is loving school Smoky. xxx
Bye for now
