    I solved this the other day with my sc, half a teacup of bio washing powder topped up with boiling water and then leave until cold. This also works very well on tea stained cups.

    Hello does anyone have any advice on how to give a Welsh Dresser (pine) a really good clean. Apart from giving it a dust it has never really been cleaned in 12 years! :o

    Stick him in the bath, make sure he has plenty of bubble bath, scrub really hard to get rid of the coal dust and don't let him talk about rugby, singing or leeks. :D

  • :eek: I forgot about a couple of squares of cake in the bottom of my cake tin &now it stinks :o I've scrubbed at it & soaked it with multi purpose cleaner & washing up liquid but it still smells - any tips or ideas to get rid of the yucky smell

    Try leaving a liberal sprinkling of bicarb of soda in there for a few days and make sure you leave it open to the air. Good luck :)
