    Hi

I bought them from a Chinese Supermarket after seeing a link on another thread.

The bicarb of soda was £3.60 after VAT was added and the vinegar appears to be VAT free according to my receipt and was £2.25 for 5 litres.

They had Sarsons white vinegar which was £4.35 but as I was only buying to use as a cleaner I went for the cheaper ' Ellsey's ' vinegar which is the same strength ie 5% but only £2.25.

Google your area for chinese supermarkets, I never knew there was one near us until a couple of years ago, then again it is on an industrial estate so I had no reason to go there before.

great idea,am going to look up oue chinese takeaway now!

Does anyone know of anything as alternative for furniture polish - ideally without having to spend pennies.

I've just used the last of my aerosol up whilst tackling the study and would now like to move to something a bit more natural or even homemade.

Any ideas or hints and tips would be gratefully received!

    Thank you!

My daughter potentially has a mild form of asthma, still waiting on a proper diagnoses, so this I will definately have a go at!
