Morning everyone :hello:
Happy Birthday Mrs Mix. Have a great one pet. xxxx
I have been sent back to bed by Dtwins who have just brought me breakfast in bed. I say breakfast but it is actually a banana cut upen and stuffed with mini marshmallows, sliced grapes and yoghurt with chopped chorizo on the side _pale_ :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I will have to hide it under the bed and remember to move it later.
Beautiful day here so I'll continue bulb planting when I get up and the girls and I will go blacberrying later. I will take the dog as since she has come into season she has fallen in love with OH's leg and I daren't leave them alone
:rotfl:.
Going to do my meal plan in a moment but it's hot dogs in front of the telly tonight, hopefully followed by blackberry crumble. There are thousands of berries ready so we are hoping for wine, vodka and jam (in that order
)
Better go
Have good days everyone
Haribo x
Edited to add.... So sorry to hear about your fiend Pippa. Take care. xxxx0 -
Morning folks. Sunny here - really lovely and bright.
Will get the bedding into WM shortly. Jobs today include dropping off another bag at the charity shop. I'm really pleased with myself as I used to find it difficult to sort things out and declutter. I love the minimalist feel to the house now. I know it doesn't suit everyone but \I find it soothing (and much easier to keep clean!). Also looking forward to a nice long walk with the doggies. Other not so nice things include a bit of upstairs hoovering and dusting. I hate hoovering stairs but then again, I don't suppose it's anyone's favourite task!
Have a good day everyone. (((hugs))) to those feeling under the weather. So sorry to hear about your friend, Pippa.

Sistercas - hope your DD soon feels better x
Got a busy morning planned. Have just had a good clean through and am now having a coffee while the kitchen floor dries.
Later I am popping to visit Mums elderly friend then going on to clean the holiday cottage which I usually do with Mum but have to do on my own today as Mums in Cornwall.
feel a bit fed up because mum is away and today my sister and her partner are off for a week in Dorset and we're not going anywhere.:( seems like everybody is having holiday ATM. Still I mustn't feel sorry for myself as theres lots worse off then myself and yesterdays anniversary puts it all in proportion really doesn't it.
Not sure what we're doing later, need to take the hedge cuttings to the skip.
DS2 is doing a days waiting at the hotel again, he's loving earning his own money for the first time.
Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine xDo what you love :happyhear0 -

I agree with you wmf - it certainly make things less stressful when there's no clutter about and easy to keep on top of. I do have a few bits and bobs about but as its a smallish house the less in it the better.Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning peeps
another lovely sunny morning today :j the doggies have been walked and i shall be hanging the washing out in a few mins and spending some more time in the garden, i like feeling a sense of achievement when i drag myself off to w*rk later.
DH will be taking the houndies off fishing early tomorrow morning so i shall take advantage and wash their beds when he has gone and have a good hoover round. I only have two more days to w*rk and then i have six off so i`ve been making a list of all the things that i need to do - think i need six months not days :rotfl:
The bulked out saag aloo that i made yesterday was a big hit with DH so thats another recipe to go in the repeat folder, there are 8 portions altogether and rather large portions at that so i need to make some room in the freezer to store them - i shall have a rummage around in there soon and get some more things out to defrost.
Mrs Mix - Happy Birthday :bdaycake:have a lovely day!
Haribo - Your breakfast made me spill my tea
Sistercas - ((((HUGS)))) for your DD`s
Pippa S - Sorry to hear about your friend ((((HUGS))))

Redruby I nearly picked up some river cobbler the other day as I want to start having more fish. how do you cook it? does it have bones in?
Haribo I love that breakfast - how sweet, did you eat it all? I remember been brought bright blue toast once and love hearts :rotfl:0 -
Morning,gorgeous here again.
Sistercas-hope your girls improve soon.
MSD,lovely fence, not seen that colour before but I like it.Can't believe the size of your pepper plant either.
So sorry to hear about your friend Pippa.
Happy Birthday Mrs Mix.Have a good day.
Haribo,its the thought that counts
Made me and DH smile though.
We are home alone,as DS1 is in France for a few days, and DS2 obviously stayed at his mates flat as his room is empty,so just chilling with the papers. We need to go to town later as DH has to return a T-shirt to Next.
Going to hang the washing out soon, sheets,so they should dry OK.Some of the heavier stuff was still a bit damp yesterday.
I need to get an anniversary card for DH,its our 34th tomorrow. We may go mad and go for a curry tonight
Cranky40-well done for trying to cheer your poor sister up,these things all seem to come at once.My DH and DS2 are in the building trade, and it is so quiet, they are self employed, and Dh says he's never known it so bad-even in the 70s.They have had long spells of being sat at home this year, which was unheard of before.Lets hope things pick up soon.
I need to make more yogurt this morning, not much left-I always have it for brekkie with nuts and seeds on top.Hugs to the poorlies and those who need one.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Good morning, everyone
Hope you don't mind me posting here - I just feel the need to share my OSiness. I'm feeling particularly Old Style today; working out my mealplan, going blackberrying this afternoon, making cakes and whatnot.
Lovely homemade lasagne for tea, and while that's in the oven I wonder if I can stew some fruit in a dish at the bottom ready to freeze. I've never really tried to do it that way before so I've no idea if it'll work or not! I bought some plums earlier this week that are a bit ... squishy ... and they'll make really nice crumble. I just hope I remember to do them! Must sort out my fridge today, too. And my baking cupboard.
I've got a bit of a mountain to climb with this! Anyway, hope you don't mind my jumping on board.

Welcome Kitchenbunny - the more the merrier I say so don't feel you have to ask to join in (lord knows I don't think I did when I started!)
Pippa - am very sorry to hear about your friend :grouphug:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
