Hi Carlos. Glad you're not doing it alone, it will take forever. I'm not on facebook though hun so I can't look. I deleted it because I was sick of strange ugly men sending me messages lol.
Laughing cow, I will go take a look now! :-)Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
Have had to post again because after much soul searching, and house hunting in different areas, we decided we loved that area too much to let it slip away.
We've viewed it twice, with other people present to ask the questions we may forget, and have found that we really love the house. It needs a bit doing to it to get it looking how we want it, but not a bit of it is urgent and we'd be comfortable there for a while without having to do anything. I'm so excited. Wish OH wasn't at work so I could ramble all this at him lol. What does everyone else think?Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
Why do all the photos have that myspace emo look? All taken from high up, looking down on stuff?0

Surely it's not about whether it's to your taste...Why not use more money to pay more of the house off, so payments are lower and you can save for a kitchen. For a kitchen, it has cupboards, sink, cooker and work surfaces. Surely you can last for like 6 months while you save for a new one? What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

The agent's camera has an insanely wide angle lens (the distortion is bizarre), so even holding it at head height will make the photos look even odder than normal.0 -

Are you worth looking at then? i could always help while your OH is at work :winkwink:
The place looks nice, and while it might not be your taste, it all looks in good nic ;o)0 -
Wow, loads of people have things to say.
Manova, apparently our mortgage term doesn't go down if we overpay. Somehow, it's taken off the interest which is taken off at the end of the mortgage. I don't know how that works because OH has sorted that out. Maybe he explained it wrong though, because even he couldn't understand how the mortgage term cannot get shorter if we overpay enough to clear 25 years of interest etc. Do you understand what I mean, am rubbish at explaining things!
Carlos, bloody behave yourself young man. My OH reads this too, ya know :-)
To those who think the pictures are dodgy....... OH dad was quite angry about the same thing. Personally I couldn't see what he was on about lol.. Mind you, I don't wear my glasses to look at the PC
Carlos, you have hit the nail on the head though chap. It is in very good condition and has been well cared for and tended in the 21 years the vendors have lived in it. It just needs a little updating and a bit of decorating and it's sorted. I'll be doing that when OH is at work so not a lot of money spent there. We're excited now!!!Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Looked at the pics again.......
Maybe the guy who took them was REALLY tall :-)Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
Do they not teach estate agents basic photography?, those images remind me of being on acid as a student.
Couple of coats of paint and lose the red carpet (over time) and the place will soon feel like home.0
