hi all, well i am so angry with mr t's, just bought 2 bottles of perfume, which were on offer, got home and when i opened them one is a tester and not for resale:eek:
and it has definately been tested, half the perfume is missing.
what a cheek:mad::mad: am going back later to argue this one out;)

Never came across this Mrs A! Was the perfume in a tester box? In fact, never seen a tester box out on the shelves...:o It'd be nice of Mr T's staff if they refunded u the amount paid + let you have a new box...:p:D

morning all, I'm a bit late today,no new freebies for you, soz, went to one of the T's we use about once a week, went to a lovely sa,and she was telling us that every time they log on to a till there is a message telling them to check moc's carefully cos someone/or ppl have been slipping morrison and safeways mocs thru, very selfish of them to spoil a good tescos for the sake of a few pounds, pink and I had no probs cos as all {I hope}mse'ers we stick to the guide lines. have a good day everyone, and big thanks to those who have found new mocs for us. flower-002.gif

the perfume was sealed in a clear box, when i looked at both of them noticed one was only half full, then noticed it said tester not for resale

im hoping they do give me a refund and let me have a new one;), as i dont think this is good practice by mr t's, hes getting his own back on me:D

Strange that when i was in a store yesterday they took all of my coupons away including the £6.80 one to check them and came back with them all ok by the store. They were explaining that other tescos were being abused by magazine coupons and had a memo sent round letting them know. Other than that as long as i didnt mind about getting them checked it was still the same old policy!

Thats two stores that ive had the £6.80 cleared in.

well i'm going tonight to see if i can get my kiddies a few presents ready for christmas, how sad am I that i'm so broke i'm collecting presents now!!? i'll see what they say about the pedigree coupons then and report back.
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p

Could one of you guys PM me with instructions on the £6.98 one as I need to get the baby of the family a printer for Uni tonight. I tried adding a St Bernard but with no success. Mind you I never got the original coupons as they printed mega large and the barcode wasn't on them.

    Cheers

one of my friends who printed them had the same prob, you need to change the print on your printer. my guess is its set to landscape and it needs to be set to portrait!

Do you mean the Morrison's conditional spend coupons or coupons specific to Morrison's? Conditional coupons are okay for them to take but not the ones specific to another store. I think gill meant the store was taking coupons specific to Morrison's, not the conditional spend ones.;)

Not sad at all. Totally skint and have been getting a few presents when i can. have not got a bad lot so far really. I dont understand how some t's can clear the coupon and other say its totally not allowed. I was hoping to use it a few times more in order to get more presents. Im going to try tomorrow at a store i dont visit too regularly i was hoping to use it next week instead to go towards my total spend vouchers.

I lost a Huggies Smart Coupon for the opposite reason - it came out really big on Portrait and chopped off the bar code - worked OK on Landscape. I printed my Pedigree Smart Coupons in Landscape and it worked fine - got 3 MOC's over 2 pages (still haven't used them yet!).
Smart Coupons are pants! (or is it Thongs!)
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • i am fumeing i have just finished work and on the way home i always call in to my small local tesco's garage that's also mini super market i have been doing this for nearly a year and they accept all forms of coupons e.g. internet and newspaper ones. and over the past couple of weeks i have noticed it has gotton buisier and buisier and one of the assistants told me that the word has got around that they take all coupons and greedy people have been traveling from afar and in groups of 3,s 4,s and 5,s they have been going in and doing there shopping taking it to there car and then going back for more shopping and they all do this for up to 7 or 8 times (TALK ABOUT TAKING THE !!!!) . anyway upon entering tonight i got half way round with my shopping only to be told they had stopped taking all coupons as of last nite they had an email sent yesterday to tell them to stop it with imidiate effect. the greedy people have spoilt this for all the regulars that went in and did not abuse the coupons , i only ever went round the once then came out. SO WELL DONE TO YOU ALL YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE THANKS FOR SPOILING A GOOD THING  i just had to get this of my chest i am giong to try and wind down now

Sooo sorry to hear about this odollybird...:(:(:( do try to wind down as you must be feeling awful... is this the only store that's closer to you and followed the Coupon Policy? As it happens, the problem is always with people who take advantage of this policy and can and will ruin it for others... one thing tho I cannot understand is why the store let people shop sooo many times during the day and, as you said, they were in and out? My store would come down on anyone who shopped more then once a day like a ton of bricks so I fail to understand how the other stores are so more lenient? Or is it a case of people knowing people within the store?
