  • well I went into tesco this evening armed with a bunch of coupons, sought out the team leader as usual and she checked through them all, i even spoke to her about the pedigree ones and said i reckon that they won't last long as they can be printed more than once, and she just said yes you're prob right, well make the most of it before they do and put it through....so i'm thinking my store hasn't had a memo about them....yet.
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p

Could one of you guys PM me with instructions on the £6.98 one as I need to get the baby of the family a printer for Uni tonight. I tried adding a St Bernard but with no success. Mind you I never got the original coupons as they printed mega large and the barcode wasn't on them.

    Cheers
This is getting very confusing! They seem to have so many different coupons available dependent on whether you've registered a puppy or a dog.

I found the following useful - and think someone reposted it the other week:-

cobbnco on PTS did the following list of links to pedigree coupons.

My coupons also printed mega-large. On some I requested postal coupons, on others managed to print them by doing them landscape.

Dunno about that - you'd have to factor in the SA's wages.

Say for instance a checkout operator gets £8 per hour, that's 13p per minute cost to Mr T. (Ignoring any employer's NI)

So they'd have to scan 7 coupons per minute (at 2p handling fee each) to be in profit.

Now a Saturday lad could easily scan at least 20 per minute but a midweek trout may take 10 minutes per coupon... ;)

    Hi all,
just thought i would update everyone on my trouting on tuesday night.:confused:

If you already saw or not but i was refused and told that no more coupons could be taken and there was a new policy this week that said no coupons unless you buy the product!
Anyway i left after paying for my shopping and Yesterday i phoned the 0800 tesco helpline and spoke to a young girl and she said Tesco's policy has always been one coupon if you buy the product. ( obiously she didnt have a clue)
So not satisfied i sent an email to dundee asking if the policy on page 1 was correct and if there had been any new policies this week, and here is the reply........

    Dear Mrs Thompson

I appreciate you enquiring us with regards to our Tesco coupon policy.

I would like to let you know that there are no new policies regarding coupons this week. I've also given below our coupon policy and to make it easier to understand we have provided bullet points.

    • Customers can use branded coupons without buying the product if Tesco stocks the product and the coupon is in date.

    • Only one branded coupon can be accepted per item not purchased.

    • Customers can pay for all of their shopping using different branded coupons as long as the conditions above have been met.

    • If two branded coupons are presented, the customer needs to have bought one of the products.

    • We do not accept competitor product coupons, e.g. ASDA coupon 50 pence off a bottle of Coke.

    • We do accept conditional spend coupons from competitors e.g. Sainsbury £3.00 off when you spend £30:00 or more.

    • We do accept internet coupons which must be accepted on the same terms and conditions as above.

    • Photocopies cannot be accepted.

    • We accept supplier coupons without a barcode as long as they are in date and Tesco stock the product.

    • We do not accept damaged, copied or defaced coupons.

    • If coupons do not scan, the barcode needs to be manually entered, if everything else matches.

    • The Store Manager has the discretion to refuse coupons if he/she believes a customer is abusing the policy.

I trust this information helps and thank you for taking the time to contact us. If I can help further, please just let me know.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us at customer.service@tesco.co.uk quoting
    .

    Kind Regards

Whoop whoop we were all right!!:T:T

I have been back to my T's this afternoon and went to CS to speak to the CS manager and was told that she was on holidays, i asked if it was ok for me to use my coupons today and was told yes!!:T:T
I even had an apology for the way i was spoken to on tuesday night :rotfl: as the SA was wrong and the supposed new policy she had was in fact details of the correct policy as we all know and love! :) She just didnt read it and made up her own version.

Hope this helps anyone who has had any trouble this week.

My store takes morrisons ones but not somerfields. is everyone else's different?
most tesco will take morrisons and other stores minimum spend, ie;£5 off £30 spend but they dont the smaller one like 30p off whatever, and this is what the sa was looking for.
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.

I have just tried to use Tabasco coupon in Waitrose and it would not scan, so be prepared that it will probably be necessary for the SA to input code. Not sure it is worth the hassle for the 30p especially as heavy on ink when printing.

Collected a trolley on the way in & some kind soul had left 4 of the neck collars from the Badger beer. Just off to try my luck for the car (so far, only managed to get 3 correct) & collect my 50p coupons.

I thought the tobasco were tesco specific and you had to buy the item?

The original that i had was.

But drwho will tell anyone where her 5 moc limit and no internets store is, just that no one wants to go there;)
