Good to have you back KC, and so glad to hear you're on the mend too. Hopefully the accounts can be submitted in time but if not then that's just the ways it will have to be eh? No point in stressing about it, as you quite rightly say.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I can't tell you how good it is to have enough energy to be on here :j
What I must do now, is remember the lessons from when I was sick, and not overdose on dfw work, but instead look at quality of life - physical fitness, and social life.
How are you, EH? Do you have your own diary?I better look, hadn't I?
:o Forgive me, I'm still dopey!
EDIT - I'm a very stupid person sometimesyou have your nine year plan thread.......

At least we can laugh about it - when I was starting to recover from being sick, I'd rush through hypno's thread to see what everyone was doing - but its been so long now, I've forgotten all sorts  Thank you! :kisses3:2023: the year I get to buy a car0

It's so nice to have you back with us again.
I totally agree abwith the points you make regarding the looking after yourself and social life stuff.
I'm also not going to stress over surveys etc especially as they screen you out half way through...and want to improve my health and mental well being.0 -
Hello lovely lady, glad to hear you're on the mend xDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Squizz - I just posted on your thread. I'm very glad to *be* back!
Taxi :hello: morning - surveys, gah. I'll do a few lightspeed ones, maybe maybe, and some ipoints - I've decided to join the money neutral gifty thread, when I can get round to thinking about all this stuff properly - but its by no means a priority.
Priorities:
- French information for English accountant.
- French tax submission for French accountant.
- CPD info for my professional organisation.
- plus little bits like re-joining my international professional organisation, and telling Alliance & Leicester I don't want to start paying £5 a month for the premier account.
Then:
- spring clean the house a bit, before I get the estate agent in to put it on the market. That won't be till February, which might be a good time to finally start the new diary, all of this stuff feels very left-over from last year.
Hope everyone has a good day - just off to go round a few more diaries, have a cuppa, then I'll start in earnest.

Morning Karma,
Managed to shower meself today , still a bit panicky about getting the steristrips over the wound site wet though ( visions of Aliens ), and I'm going to take a short walk later using one (or two) of my hiking poles.
Be nice to cough or get out of breath again!:D stay wonky
:D
....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !0 -
Hi Pepe! Deffo take two of the hiking poles - only yesterday, I saw somebody doing exactly the same thing along my road.
I think we must have had a little bit of drift of the snow - I just went out, for the first time since NYE - to brush snow off the cotoneaster, as I saw some blackbirds looking for food. I couldn't even see some of the steps up to my house, so I've just had a fun half hour clearing snow, then put some old table salt down to make the rest melt - this afternoon, I have my first client since the snow came back That level of exercise is not what I wanted or expected, but it may have been what I needed. I've eaten, and I'm toasty, and I'm just doing a hot drink - taking no chances here!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
