Glad you are feeling better, but don't do too much too soon.

:hello: Morning! Thank you once again for the posts! See, I'm on here 2 days in a row, I must be better :j Its a weird thing - I'm tired, but I have a bit of energy - at first, all I could do was listen to motivational CDs, and then gradually start tidying and chucking out magazines and papers and whatnot, which I've always found satisfying :rotfl: Most of my physical energy tho, has gone on doing the washing up - even using disposables where I can only takes me so far. I don't know what I'd have done without my Amazon-vouchers microwave, and in the next place I go to, I'm *definitely* having a dishwasher. I still haven't done any cleaning, apart from dustpan and brush emergencies - tho my sister cleaned the hallway last week when she was here, bless her. I do have the tingles that might indicate *another* set of germs, like a cold or something, but I'm actually pretty sure that thats a dust allergy - the place must be absolutely filthy, not been properly cleaned in about two months, which includes having those builders in and out for various things.
Today: believe it or not, the French information for my English accounts needs to be done. I'd almost finished it when I realised I had to stop everything, so there shouldn't be too much more, and there is a small chance that my accountant can still get the info to the Inland Revenue before the deadline, and avoid that fine. It would be nice, but I'm not counting on it (they're a big firm, and a little inflexible).
But I won't be pushing it - I've had enough of that to last a lifetime.
Off round the boards now, then I'm going to have a lie down (I still do....). And a fun thing will be updating my sig, new challe nges and whatnot :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
See, once I'm back on, you can't shut me up
My excuse for not doing anything is that I still can't concentrate, so when I'm sitting at my desk, what I'm *actually* doing is roving the internet, trying to feel like I have a life once again.... so .....
I came across this via a link from Michael Shanks official website - its him, in the clothes he wore on Burn Notice, with the producer of Burn Notice, just after he did his death scene - I've *never* seen a photo like this, no wonder his grin is crooked

Sod the Budgets, its good to have you back! We can recover together, I'm going stir-crazy after my Hernia Op on tuesday and I've got another two weeks!!!!!
:D stay wonky

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !0 -
:hello: Hi Pepe! Sorry to hear you have a hernia, but glad its been fixed. I had no idea about the pain that some of these conditions could cause. I was worried I had a hernia at one stage, but it was just a pulled muscle
:o:eek:
Glad to hear you're recovering. Isn't it horrible, tho, when you start to feel okay again and you can't go anywhere? I mean, I probably wouldn't anyway in this weather, but I probably would get my wellies on (very unattractive, steel-toe-capped wellies :rotfl:) and wander about the local area admiring the icicles.
Anyway .... keep warm! I feel so sorry for people who had power cuts....:eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
