I just started to feel human (tho very snuffly) the last few days, and came backon for a looksee.... couldn't stay away any longer I've been ill, but very, very bored, even when I was really sick (pleurisy brought about muscle pull - they couldn't tell if it was cracked ribs at first). Still feels like somebody's knifing me when I cough, but my voice sounds more or less normal for about ten minutes now when I talk to people, which is good. Last Saturday (a week ago now) I was in the A&E department of my local hospital - I was really scared something had gone wrong internally, but it literally is pulled muscles in my ribcage, so ibuprofen as anti-inflammatory is the order of the day.

The messages on the thread are lovely to read - thank you all so much for posting...:A:kisses3: - I can't tell you how nice it is to come back and read all of that.

Of course, budgets and timings have been destroyed by being so ill for so long - but, you know, I really don't care. I'm sure I *will* care again, when I'm doing some work and some dfw work again, but that old saying of "your health is more important" - well, these weeks have been a stark illustration.

Just off to look round the boards, with a cup of tea.....

I don't care about your budgets either just glad that you are Ok thought you had done a bunk with hot totty - not really but was worried about you glad you are in one piece concentrate on getting better - the debts can wait.

Thank you! What a lovely community this is, truly. You are very, very [strike]king[/strike] KIND, I meant kind***, all of you. I won't be on too much longer tonight, but I need another hot drink, so I'll have that at the computer, with mse on, and then pop off till tomorrow ...

Tempted by Michael ... I confess, my Stargate DVDs have kept me sane... Burn Notice too (he dies... again. But beautifully )

He made a guest appearance in Sanctuary and died in that too...but beautifully and a hero *sigh*

Oh, I saw that! The alert was on his website I've had to rely on things like that - I'd been at the stage where I physically couldn't talk, ie. on the phone, but I couldn't listen to people rabbiting too much either - and people get uncomfortable if its a monologue too, even if I've told them its what I want. I'm *so* glad its over.:j
