Oh lord - what a nasty time. So glad you're feeling a bit stronger now anyway. Pleurisy is more common still than you might think - I have to be watched for it each time I get severe bouts of tonsilitus as one can apparently mask the other and make it harder to detect as the symptoms start very similar.
Take it really easy, don't fret about money, work or anything else for that matter, and just look after yourself for a while now while you heal properly - it's like you said, your health is the most importnt weapon you possess for your future so protect it and use it well.

ThanksEH - you're right, I'mtaking it really easily - since that big post above, its been decided I'mnot going home for Christmas - my mum will go to my brother, and I'll go to my sister's (she'll collect me). I'll have to post the train ticket to my mum, as I bought it so that we could travel together (hollow laugh). Trouble is - I haven't collected it yet, so I'll have to go into town tomorrow to print it out, then post it registered or recorded or something. I'vehad to get taxis to the doctor's, so I know I can do it, but it wasn't *cold* like this then. I'm sure it'll be okay tho. Its nice to be back on here, getting back to normality ...... hope everyone has a lovely time......

Massive hugs K. I'm so sorry to hear that things got so much worse for you. I do hope tomorrow's trip to get the ticket isn't too much - is there anyone else who could possibly collect your ticket with your card?

Thanks folks - my business partner has offered to collect the ticket.... he'll have to come round here again to collect the details and whatnot ... he's been an absolute star, as well as my supermarketdeliveries,he's been getting lotsof bits andbobs for me, and doing a few phone calls too. I'll take him up on it, of course, but I do wonder if I might be able to do it myself - there's supposedto be a thaw tomorrow, it might be okay. But if he *can* do it, I'll take him up onit.
Shutting down now - I'm still doing very little, haven't managed to open all the post yet, oops.
Thanks for the hugs, lots of virtual hugs back (don't want to give anyone any potential germs).
