Awww....... hello all. I haven't honestly had the strength to come back on, but I'm just starting to get better, and what a lovely few pages to come back to. Thank you all. And Shaun, I got the DVDs! I haven't opened my post for about ten days - its one of the things that had to go by the board - but I collected it all today, and its there. Thank you so much!

This was the sequence of the sh*tfest: I got flu. I got an infection. I got antibiotics. I got more antibiotics and some steroids. I got better then I got worse. I got a 3rd lot of antibiotics, different and stronger. I got an X ray - turns out that the 2nd infection is pleurisy. Pleurisy! In this day and age.

I haven't worked for weeks - frankly, it doesn't matter at this level. What it has done is to show me the importanceof my health, not just in the life and death way, but in the quality of life way. So lots of lessons being learned and confirmed.

One of those is the importance of top totty! dfw work will be scaled back in the New Year in favour of finding such..... Another is that I better close this diary down, with such a big gap in it, and start another in the New Year. I'm still struggling, tbh - I don't think I'm going to make it home over Christmas - my sister is going to collect me and bring me to her house for the Christmas period itself. I won't be back on mse regularly until the New Year, but I already have the title of the new diary... watch out for
