kc sounds terribly shoddy service from virgin ...have to dmit we went a week without any internet at all a wee while ago and it hurt ....other than that we havnt had any problems with them ...but i do think we are few and far between with that to be honest ...

I sympathise KC it is only my email address that stops me leaving them - I have been with them since they started I just keep hoping for improvements

Yep, I nearly left them a couple of years ago, and I only stayed because of the email address! I had to shift to cable because of the degrading broadband signal on the phone wires, but I really wish somebody else did cable in my area. They're supposed to be sending me another survey - I shall be even more annoyed with them this time.

Its weird. I feel like there's been a bereavement - but it makes me think, its one more link being cut with the old life. And thats fine in its way, its just that there's *such* a lot of work on informing people to do. I don't have the heart to start it today, I'll start tomorrow, just like Scarlett O'Hara.

Morning campers.... well, I got a little bit more sleep last night. I even did my duty phone call early so that I could have the evening to myself, and just cuddled up on the sofa with nibbles and in the end a glass of wine - I'm such a lightweight with booze now, I bought one of those little mini-bottles of red wine, and I've only drunk half of it!

The plan today:
- finish the accounts.
- I'd like to finish them in time to take them to the accountant - if all thats left is the mystery shopping details, then I will, and add them in later on.
- lots of emails and texts to let clients (and builders doing quotes) know the updated contact details. Sigh..........
