Very rounded top totty, but us women don't care about such things :D

Of my to-do list today, I've now crossed off 12 of 16, and all thats left is:
    - pack for tomorrow (that'll be easy, I'm taking my accounts to London to work on)
    - saw up the branches I cut down yesterday - my fingers might not cope with that actually, I might leave that till Sunday when they've recovered
    - email beloved American cousin - thats no hardship
    - cook beans in slow cooker - and they're on anyway.

Ha! All I have to do is prattle away to cousin, and I'm free to start the accounts. I think I'll take a turn around the block, we have sunshine at the mo. And I can hear some chocolate..........

No sweetie, I'd be bouncing up and down on here (that smiley doing the jackstars, whatever they're called) if it had. I'd certainly be posting! I'm not leaving for London till 1.30 tomorrow, so I might still be in by the time the post comes tomorrow. Here's hoping!

V! Ooh, I remember the original. I mean, even at the time, we knew it was cheesy, but at least it was an alternative to the Olympics! Ireland's pretty good on getting the up to date series, hey?

Good bingo news: my little win on Britain turned up in my bank account after only one day, and £20 from KJ that :o:o:o I wasn't expecting also turned up. And I just won £15 at Britain!

Leaving at 1pm today for London, its a comfy day in the car. However, I only have 1.5 hours work - which means I'm taking my accounts with me. I got a letter from my accountant saying that if they did the work before 31 December I'll be charged at the lower VAT rate. Thats a big incentive! So I *know* what I'm going to be focussing on for the next few days. Concentrates the mind, like.

EDIT - still exchanging emails with the guy I sold the mega-expensive SF litcrit book to, and he's googled me! So I googled him, of course. I thought he worked in a Patents Office - turns out he owns a company that assists with patents. This is also mega!

The early games seem to be more profitable for me, I must say. Saw hypno on there, but nobody seems to chat on there - spesh at that time of day, to be fair. Things do seem okay at the mo - I'm very happy to think of that work on The Wall potentially being done at cost. The two guys who've quoted this week seem to be thinking of knocking the wall down by hand, which makes sense - my previous builder was looking at a mechanical digger, and therefore a permit for the skip to be on the road, blah blah blah - no wonder he was expensive.

Focusingg on the accounts even right now - done the fuel bills, just doing the phones now - I had about 3 phone accounts at one stage, to take account of cheap rates, its awkward. And I had my new monthly phone bill from Virgin - taking evening rate phone calls doesn't seem to have made much difference, sadly. I really have to get my act together, but the truth is, I have to phone mobiles for clients often - maybe it *does* make sense for me to get a regular mobile contract, it would be cheaper to phone mobiles, wouldn't it?

anyway, off again - not googling anyone else yet! :rotfl:
