Tee hee.......... its a CD of the actors of Daniel Jackson and Teal'c from Stargate - they toured the UK, Holland and I think Germany - I saw two sets, in London and Bournemouth, and it was brill. They were !!!!ed practically the whole time, and it was very, very funny.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hurray, I can access my hotmail account again. I *hate* not having internet access.
EDIT - I forgot why I wanted to post that - I was able to see the confirmation of cashin email that KJ pot sent me - it was only my deposit so I could play free games, coming straight back to me, but I'm relieved it *is* coming back to me.
I still don't understand the T&C they have......2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I am glad about that KC, those Java updates are a pain aren't they?
I just don't understand Bingo...i think i have a ball aversion as i hate footy too... Cricket, snooker...yawn, pool...bigger yawn...bingo...snore...............it must be related somewhere along the line. See perfectly rationalised aversion.:)Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Glad you sorted the bingo..
Work seems to be taking off as well0 -
They really are a pain, Bob - I had 3 updates on the go at once, maybe thats what caused the problem - Java, stopzilla and AVG. Hi ho. All is well today, and just like the debt its one day at a time!
The bingo seems to be safe - not only did that deposit money come straight back to me, but on Britain I won a fiver yesterday and I seem to have been able to deposit and get the winnings and the deposit out - and the new bonus money was in my account this morning, so I've pre-wagered it on the 10am-11am slot - I'll log in at 11am and see whats happened.
Taxi, I get rushes of work - at the moment, I've had a few existing clients booking extra sessions, thats the extra work. It isn't new business that can give me a steady stream again, sadly. Thats okay, its not sad really, I've had my time with this business. Speaking to my friend in Three Bridges, I really liked the sound of something she's started doing - NVQ assessor in counselling skills. I'd never even heard of it as a job, but it has a really nice ring to it.
Today, I don't have any paid work - so I have a list of stuff to do, of which I've done about half, and then its on with the accounts. But two of the things are about Virgin double charging me for broadband, and I'm really, really dreading that phone call. Maybe if I do those two things before my 2nd cup of coffee of the day, it will be bearable. And it will get it over with, I've been dreading the thing for days.
First tho, off for a quick mooch around the board.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hurray, just done the banking - B Britain wins are in, £16.67 transferred to savings pot, and £20 my share of a casino thingy. That takes actual cash earned in a dfw way to £2014 over the past year!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

That's amazing, well done! :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
omigod, I think I've died and gone to heaven - spoke to someone at Virgin Media who **listened**!!!!! He actually understood that I've been double-charged for my broadband connection, and has arranged a refund onto my Virgin Cable account - I don't get the money back, but it'll go in charges in about 3 months anyway, I wasn't going to quibble about that at the last moment. It also took me a half hour phone call, and I wasn't going to quibble about that, either. Just the stupid things we have to go through. I'll phone tomorrow, if I have time, to check the situation - should really do it on the Saturday, but I'm out all day.
Potential woo hoo here!
PLUS: I had the 3rd of three builders here to quote for The Wall. I think he was the youngest - and bless him, he really understood what it means to not have much money. He'll do the work for labour costs only if I pay directly for the materials, skip and whatnot (he didn't say whatnot) i.e. he won't take a cut as builders usually do. He's doing building work next door to my partner, and its a lovely finish - I'm dying to see what these two sets of builders charge.
