I honestly wouldn't consider Redhill or Horley. They don't have a good community feel. HH would be much nicer - honestly, I'd move there if I could!

Morning all! Thanks for the feedback as well.
My sister - well, I would live near her, but we never have, and we're quite different, I wouldn't want to jeopardise what we've got by much more contact than we have now. I was playing the Wii Boxing with her over the weekend, and the difference between us is summed up in that - I was going one by one, and squeaking "ugh, this is disgusting, get down you stupid cartoon, stop it" and she was going at it hell for leather and saying "die die die" sort of thing :rotfl: tho we were both pretty funny to an onlooker, it has to be said
Seaxwyn, thanks for the f/back especially on Redhill and Horley - after chatting with sis over the weekend, I'd reached the same conclusion. Also, my friend who moved to Pound Hill drove me around Tilgate and ... somewhere else... in Crawley, and it confirms my thought that I *don't* want to move there, it would be like moving to a great big version (tho flat, not hilly :rotfl:) of what I live in now - what would be the pointso I won't do that
Haywards Heath it is!
Shaun! Looking forward to the thingie you're sending, that will be great. I'm off to the post office tomorrow, so I'll post yours then. I'm catching up with myself today after being away over the weekend. Today's list has 17 items on (and I've gone back to the first item being "make a list") and has 9 items crossed off, so not doing too badly.
Off to rootle around the diaries, since my list is doing okay!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Well done on the list and looking forward to property !!!!!!:D:D:D0 -
Morning all! My list and I did well yesterday, and I spent a good three quarters of an hour in the last light sawing branches. And the 2nd builder, recommended by a new friend along the road, should be confirming an appointment to come and give a quote.
Otherwise, my new list is a bit shorter today, there are some background things I want to do - the Accounts, oh dread and horror and all things ghoulish - and some training work (for work) that needs doing. Excitingly, I'll also be fixing the bollix I made yesterday of withdrawing B Britain money - and then playing the bonus money - there's £6 bonus money in there, we'll see how much is left after the withdrawal, that will be fun.
Erm, thats it. I should be phoning Virgin about the double set of money they're taking for broadband, but I can't face it today, so I'm diarising it for tomorrow, that'll be soon enough.
Right. Brekkie is calling. Hope everyone has a good day.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, all lists need to be flexible. The update:
- withdrew successfully from B Britain, and the bonus £6 was *all* still there, so I've prebought £6 worth of cards, we'll see how that goes.
- just got an extra hour's work today, so I can't make it to the post office - sorry Shaun, I was going to get there today to send off your CD - but I can't turn down that sort of money
- I'm hastily rejigging plans, I think I can fit everything in.
See you later all
