Sob .... the carpet fitter's van has broken down. They say they can do it between 3pm and 6pm tomorrow afternoon. I have work that finishes at 2.45pm and starts again at 6.05pm .... its going to be tight! Not as difficult as Hypno's, but still :eek:



EDIT - trying to find the bright side here ... at least it means I have the place to myself today

Thanks! I did potter for a bit, and then vowed that as long as I don't have to speak to anybody on the phone, I *will* work on my Christmas cards. And I've found out why its *work* - its not just the lack of flat surfaces, its also that the addresses are everywhere, 3 years of diaries, I don't take a full note of postcodes, I don't cross out old addresses, when I do its in the way of new information. So I'm updating my address book as I go - hopping up and down to the computer to google postcodes and whatnot. I *refuse* to speak to anyone yet about getting addresses - this is *my* day I did say I was antisocial :D:D

I luckily am quite good about changing addresses! although at one point I had 3 different address books on the go :rotfl:
