Awww, thank you all! I thought I'd better say, in the end - so to those apologising cos they missed it, I didn't *say* till about midday on the day - please don't feel bad!

It wasn't really a huge birthday - pottered about here in the morning, train to London to go to work, pottered about in the local Sainsbo up there, worked, came home in the car - that was a bit exciting on the local roads in London, but we made it okay. The worrying bit was the change from road to rail at Gatwick, but the trains were running fine, even though the temperature sensor on the car said it was - 9 degrees at one point :eek:

So I slept in my own bed not that I'm a bedhopper but I might turn out to be, you never know :D:D

And today I'm snowed in again and its still coming down - yesterday I borrowed some of Pippi's weather, the snow was horizontal, today its - hmm, actually, its diagonal, not vertical. Not a good day for going out. I would have, but I'm not. So I'm here :rotfl:and I'm just off to find out whats been going on in the past 24 hours here

KC, just had a thought. A while ago, you were talking about starting a new diary, and trying to come up with a name for it. You're getting near the 5,000 post mark now.

I've been thinking about that again, honest! Building events kind of took over, but that deadline is getting nearer.

1st January ... there's a blog thingy I belong to, with new aims for a ten year plan .... I'll bring in some of my stuff from that, along with all the names we talked of earlier, and go for it :beer::beer::beer:
