Thanks Z! I have that one in my diary, tho I never really understand the dratted path displays - I understand the principle, but not what it means in practice - but that one's clear, the segment that includes us looks like we'll just about be able to see the eclipse as the moon is setting. Erm, when does the moon set at the moment? I'm sure I've seen it about during the day right now.

Oh! Just googled - on Tuesday 21st, it looks like we'll be able to see the eclipse at 0813am - can you look at this link and check?

    http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?obj=moon&n=136

I'm not sure whether the figures under "moonset" actually refer to degrees/minutes/seconds rather than time ...

Time. Six degrees is virtually bang on North, and the moon never comes from there.

Morning KC, of course he will help you move it. He is probably quite used to people leaving the rooms full, drawers and all!
  • Morning, so glad I saw this, I normally read about things like eclipse, and meteor showers and then promptly forget, so have made some notes in my phone.

Getting near the final stages of finishing the house, you must be so pleased.

    Have a good day.

Oh thats a point, its on the solstice! Now why haven't the California-crazy eco lot focussed on that, instead of the end of the world in 2012? Well, I know the answer, but still ....

Anyway - thanks Z! Thats tres simple - as I've said, I love this stuff, but I'm not a natural for the detail.

Had to be up early this morning in case I'm first on the list for the floor layer - I checked at the shop yesterday, and he's definitely coming here, my vinyl is there (I saw it!) there's a tick by my name and everything :D But I really hope they help me move that desk, I'm going to be in trouble if they don't :exclamati:question::exclamati

There's loads to sort around the house, of course, but the things I'm (hopefully) going to focus on are doing a gluten free Christmas pudding - the ingredients have been out on the counter for a week - and the cards. But we'll see - I do find writing cards unbearably horrible :rotfl:

EDIT - I was pondering so long finding the emoticons, I was late posting - hey ho. Morning folks!

I once had carpets laid in 3 rooms at once, and rang up the shop because it was impossible to move all the furniture out, without putting it in the street. The shop took the 'official line' of - rooms must be completely cleared, so I panicked a bit, but when they came they moved the big stuff from side to side for me. So long as all the small stuff is out of the way, because that really annoys them.

Thats good to hear! Yes, everything else is gone, and the desk itself is empty.

    I can hear breakfast calling....
