CAT - Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth, in mid Wales, its brill. Its a little bit loopy too, mind you, but in a California crazy way, not psychotic[/QUOTE]
I live not far from CAT. They also have a lovely cafe in Machynlleth where I can be found at least once a month having lunch! It is a great fun place to go to . They are currently building new conference centre there.Yep! Now I have to remember the details for the next Travelodge sale :

Love the smilies, may just have to 'borrow' a few. Hope you managed to get out to the health food shop and get some goodies. Wish I could wear fleeces, but at my size I look like a teddy bear.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Ooh, cherisong, I didn't realise that - I'd *love* to live near there! I adore that water powered railway, all sorts of things about it - the mix of high tech and reuse of the most common objects, absolutely wonderful
Gill, I saw your photo on your blog, you're not big! I never got the big fleece anyway thothere was a padded shirt thing that was rather nice, but I *know* it wouldve needed ironing, and I don't really do ironing
so I didn't get it. Really wanted a hat, but the ones that actually cover my head are proper money - £16 or so! And if I'm spending that, I want one that I like  so I might muck around with a scarf over the next few days, see where that gets me. And I might knit something for next year
The health food shop went well - got some stuff that I need nowadays, and spent about £40 on lots of little bits - there's about 15 people I'm doing this for, including some I don't usually get presents for for various special reasons so thats just the start. I'm really glad I took the accounts in my trolley case, cos I brought the health food stuff back in it - and I'm not moving from by the radiator now, except to make another cuppa tea.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I've got a hat with me today that a friend brought me back from New York many years ago. I may look a total 'nana' in it, but I love it and it keeps me warm. If I wear it with my winter white thermal jacket I look like a snowman, its that sort of shape.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Excellent
I'm sure "nana" is scouse, you know, nobody says it down here
I have a safari hat, but that didn't quite seem to do the trickI'm definitely going to work on one of my scarves, I have about 3 million.

((((((snowballllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll))))))))))))))))) Haha.
What a productive day :T. We tried to go to karate tonight, got about 4 miles and stopped at the garage got petrol and turned back round, you cant see where we were outside less than an hour ago.
Hopefully DS school will be shut tomorrow so we dont even need to try and get out of the drive.0 -

I'd really hate that, making the effort to go out and then being thwarted - no idea why, its hardly ever happened to me, but it sounds really awful to me. Rant over
If your tracks covered up in less than an hour, I think you were right to get back home! And I hope you don't have to go out tomorrow.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
