The caffeinated version, they basically make a cup of coffee with the roasted beans, then spray it into a cold vacuum chamber. The water sublimes from the droplets, leaving the "coffee bits" behind.
Seems a bit better process than using organic solvents.gilligansyle wrote: »Brother who used to work for a food manufacturer as a production manager never ate processed food at all if he could help it. Wonder why

:hello: Whatcha doin' there, honey? What's it like?
I'm on holiday - last full day tomorrow.
The travelodges are clean, and pretty much the same. Avoid the ones too close to the main road. The one here is set back a little, so is good. Hello all,
My mum used to work for Swizzles in Derbyshire (you know lovehearts, refreshers, gobstopper lollipops, sherbert dippers - all the really nice sweets) so when we were kids we were never allowed any kind of swizzles products. Little did she know what we got up to at the school tuck shop. She later went on to work for Golden Wonder - we were allowed to eat their crisps but I think it was because she used to get massive bags for next to nothing.
I always wondered what she had against swizzles and I found out when I was much older, now I could never even consider a love heart at all!!Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

I didn't. I said a couple of weeks ago I'd be going for a holiday in Norfolk in a couple of weeks time. OK - it ended up being based in Suffolk and travelling north - but here I am...
I am travelling a lot during the day will probably have covered a thousand miles when everything is totalled up.
I am seeing a lot though - though not very restful."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hope you're having a nice time, Z - didn't mean to imply you were being secretive - its just that I blather all over every thread
:o:D:D
Today, more accounts work - more or less got things together in the right folders with nothing extra (the accounts folder tends to be a hideyhole for anything financial) lots of the addition and totals done, just got to carry on doing what I'm doing, basically. Then I have 1.5 hours work, then my sister's popping round with a spare vacuum cleaner, so I'll be able to, you know, **clean** the carpet. And I'll get going with that bicarb trick to clear up the dog smell - the expenses are mounting quite a bit, the flooring for the office and the living room wasn't counted in the budget, so I don't want to have to replace the stuff in my room and on the stairs unless I *have* to. We'll see.

Hope you're enjoying your holiday Z x
Karma...you've just reminded me about accounts must get them up to date ..good luck with yours.
nice to know you've met your neighbours and good luck with the cleaning ...the bi carb does work as I use that on my carpets and I have a dog..loads better for the dog as shake and vac etc gives most dogs skin reactions0 -
Thats good to know, Taxi - not that it matters for me about how dogs react - I have no dogs! But if I won the lottery and moved from here, then the next people would care, thats true.
The whole accounts time today has been taken up with mystery shopping accounts - 3 different companies, expenses included in the money they've sent me, and expenses I've incurred extra. It takes a while, although there's a huge great gap when I was so ill last year. Hey ho. Better get everything ready, I'm working soon.
Hope everyone is having a good'un, specially you, Taxi.
