Hi all, a special hello to Positive Attitude - love the name!
I do think its important to stay positive, I really do, still not ignoring the down feelings and problems ... just making sure you work through them, like Taxi is
I've been fiddling about with the list all day, so here is my ta-da list:
- email sister - I'm off to see her on Saturday
- write up session notes
- fetch washbasin for loo to be installed, since the builders are finally arriving tomorrow.
- pay credit card off. Its big every month cos of the house move!
- rescue nice shingle in the garden, so it can be cleaned and relaid when the builders are done (soil pipe thingies...)
- change batteries in doorbell.
- washing machine on.
And one last one
:o:o - book hotel.
Yes, dear readers, I'm staying in a hotel tomorrow night. I've been obsessing for days about coming back here at 11pm tomorrow night, not knowing what state its going to be in, spiders, daddy long legses, whatever, all over the place potentially. The emotional energy that the obsession was taking was ridiculous. I don't want to ask my sister to stay at her place, cos I'm trying to *help* her, not get another favour :cool: so there we are. So I'll stay on Friday night in a hotel, a nice big modern one, just renovated, continental breakfast, walk to the busstop for my sister's, and be on my way. Simples. Of course, I was obsessing about the money too, but if I'm spending two grand on a piece of building work, I can blasted well afford £45 on a hotel room
:money::mad::o:eek::D:p:cool: I'm still a little conflicted tho :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yep, I decided it was better to just get on with it (the hotel not the spiders
) and move on ......... 2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
