Nope! And only the boss showed up - weather dependent, and two blokes off sick, so no work done here today, hey ho. But we looked at the room layout, and products, and this that and the other, I think it'll go okay.

So I took the chance to springclean my main email list, and looked at Xmas train fares home - but I need to talk to family before I book anything, of course. Busy busy .......... I've still got 2.5 hours paid work, then the two coffee shop m/s, plus inputting and my call to my mum (which is about 40m long at the moment, ouch).

Just off round the boards for 5 mins.

Hope you enjoyed your m/s coffee shops. Pity about the building work not getting started, but at least you've used the chance to do things that needed doing.

  • Hi Everyone

The company cherisong was talking about re buying meat was Gapbuster who's main customer is a burger chain and a chicken chain (not allowed to mention client names) - so being a vegetarian is not ideal!! :rotfl:

There is a great thread on here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2760142

On the first couple of pages they have listed the main mystery shopping companies who most people are signed up to.

Hope you can all sign up to some and make some extra money - but don't do East Anglia because that is where I am :rotfl:

Thanks for that, EE - I hadn't realised there were so many! Cruises .... good heavens. I promise not to do East Anglia!

I *have* just done my to-do list for today, yuk. I suppose there's lots of bits - pay visa, do an email, blah blah. Kind of boring! I'll be *so* glad when the building work is finished and I can get my house together the way I want it ..... evenings are a bit horrible by the end of them, to be honest. Ah well, it will be *lovely* by Christmas.

Lots of bitty lists, but at least you are looking forward to your house being as you want it. Not necessarily perfect, but what you want. When you see your family all together over Christmas, however that pans out, hope they will see the change in you too!.
