I hate the thought of having wasted all that space! But I'm very, very glad its not coming with me.

Oh - I'm trying not to think about the *money* I wasted buying it all!

The new word strikes again :)

I love that new word! Will definitely use it in future. You are getting through so much and are right not to take the *stuff* with you.

Huh? I thought I posted this morning? Well, I *did*, I just didn't post on here ... how confusing! My ruminations about where my home is on the web are more meaningful than I thought, apparently

Anyway, the list today is full of tiddly things that really, really need to be done. Deed of Transfer, which needed a trip to BP's for a signature, which then needed a phone call to the conveyancer, blah blah .... my printer's stopped working, and there are things I need to print out, and I'm still struggling with that on the Techie board. Done some shredding (not the exercise, the cross-cut variety :) ) and lots of scanning of stuff that then goes in the recycling. Phoning Virgin, who *have* set up a date to come connect me up, but didn't confirm it like they said they would do. That sort of stuff. And I'm still going. And so is the washing machine :)

Hi KC, I've been lurking (just had enough time to keep up with dairies but not really join in :o) and you've been doing really well. bet a few months ago you didin't think you could be this organised ;).

Googled DH meds and found lots of threads with up to 20kg weight gain  even though the manufacturers say it doesnt happen. looking at swapping or trying to come off completely as a big Santa tummy does nothing for your self esteem at age 36, even if it does make a nice pillow!

KC you are going great guns - it will be so lovely when you move not to be dragged down by unnecessary "stuff".

Its funny - I don't feel organised, but I *do* feel I'm going great guns. Tho I'm also feeling like I'm being very lazy :D I suppose if I'm feeling all 3 things, then I'm doing something right :D And yes, to not be weighed down by all this unnecessary stuff - wow! All that time. Being in the garden. Being *able* to be in the garden :)

The Deed of Transfer has gone off to the conveyancer, and I took the opportunity to walk round the block to look at the stormclouds and some lovely plants that are flowering just now.

    So now, I have to:
    - put the washing machine on again.
    - take the recycling down to the garage.
    - tape up 2 boxes waiting for me on the top floor.
    - maybe, maybe, maybe, sweep the garage. Or part of it. The sweepings are mostly organic (soil from repotting, and leaves that have blown in) so they'll go on the garden

Oh, and I was wondering what to spend my paypal loot on - water butt, stand and garden hose, anyone :D:D:D
