Right, done it, got 3 people coming round to give me a quote, all from reallymoving - and the first one is coming at 5pm today! Those boxes are *going* to get packed. Right now2023: the year I get to buy a car0

:j Well done!
I did surveys but both myself and DH had an account and we took it in turns to log in and we have similar tastes so they decided it was one person and we were commiting fraud - there was money due to be paid out but they wouldn't pay it.
Well done on the busy week work wise as that takes precedence as it will earn you more than a mystery shop!0 -
Well done - that is great progress for this time in the morning! :TDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Pippajo - bah humbug to them! How annoying!
Squizz - it feels much later than it is! I want my lunchtime cup of coffee, and I'm trying to resist, because I need to have eaten something *immediately* beforehand or I get the shakes
Pleased at the progress tho - washing has been hung up, paid the local counselling organisation my subscription. Just about to print off the mystery shop, and I think I'll take a break then.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Great news on mse money and ringing the removals people.
I must get into more MSE stuff.0 -
So today, the plan is:
- check out removals.
- finish the blasted boxes that are halfway done - I *still* haven't done them.
- print out mystery shop stuff for tomorrow (trip into town paid for).
- ooh, put washing machine on, I'll do that now before anything else.
Done! And two of the people quoting have come along ...does anybody else hate it when the 2nd person to quote spends most of their time dissing the first one?
Taxi - you've mostly worked at the job, haven't you? Of course, that needs an awful lot of energy - so maybe some ordinary mse stuff like surveys might be good for now....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
So am I right in assuming that the phone calls have been made0

Hi both! Yes, El, the phone calls were made - its in response to those that the two removal blokes showed up today
the first was nice, and cheap, and detailed (tho he kept asking why I was taking things - I got a bit embarrassed, he ended up saying he just thought it was a lot of work. I didn't say, well, I can't afford to leave that stuff here! And anyway, I've guaranteed to empty the joint.
The second, yep, he kept calling the others "man and van", which of course is a real insult beween removal firms. And they're simply not that, not at all. I made it quite plain I didn't like him talking like that, and I didn't like him pumping me for information about what they'd said, but he kept on doing it.
Just been trying to do some surveys myself - lightspeed doesn't want me tonight. I know, there's bits of toluna to do so I can finally get those dratted vouchers.:hello:
