Most deff the first one even if the second is cheaper .. The second is a bit light on the ethics ...
Hey taxi you not tired hon ?0 -
Yep, you two are thinking the same as me. And to cap it all, the first one, the nice one, was only two thirds of the price of the other one. I just have to check his prices are inclusive of VAT, since the not-nice one's prices were inclusive, and we'll see. Ive got another one showing up tomorrow
Just inputted two mystery shops a few minutes ago, by the skin of my teeth - well, inputted one, copied details to a special email box on two - one of the two is a day late, I hope they accept it. Should do.
Shops round here are very niceI was so tired early on this evening, and I went to the local Spar to get some choccy cake - I was a penny short, but they let me buy it anyway
I think thats really nice. And as soon as I've calmed down from nearly missing out on the mystery shops, I'll go to bed!

I would definitely go for the nice one, even if he was a little bit more expensive than the not-nice one! The last thing you want in the middle of the hassle of moving day is someone who gets on your nerves.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

I hadn't actually thought that out loud to myself - you know what I meanI'd just thought "I like that one better" - in spite of the way he dissed eco work :rotfl:
Thanks Squizz! Shutting down now - I've got a client soon, and then I'm off to do a mystery shop. I'm really shattered - don't think I'm going to be doing more than the minimum today. Hope yours is a good one

Not bad thanks, Fay - the mystery shop was one I've done a million times, I dumped some of the underbed storage bag at the charity shop, bought a SDHDC (whatever the intials are) for the new camera - 4 gig for £15! Very good value. Nearly broke the dratted camera trying to get the card in tho
:o:o:rotfl:
Just had the third removal company around - they were okay, nothing special, but told me their insurance wouldn't allow them to carry paint? Neither of the others have mentioned it - I've googled it, and seen one other mention, so I'll have to ring and check. Maybe my sister can take it and store it at her house..... she's away in France when I move, so hopefully it will still be possible.
Thats it. Hungry again! And I've found another arthritic/rheumatoid swelling - where my collarbone meets my neck. I'm a bit worried about all this, I must say. I'm pretty tired, but I might well find some googling time....
Hope you've had a good'un......2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Paint can be classed as a dangerous chemical for transport although not usually normal household paint. Maybe its just in case they spill it on your property by accident.
Have a rest and take it easy, maybe you have aggravated your collar bone lifting and carrying, x0 -
is there anything you can take/do for the arthric swelling? i have a nutrition bible if you want me to check it out for you let me know ... not liking the sound of that one0

Yep, thats the thing - its okay for them to suggest that I transport it by car, tho!is there anything you can take/do for the arthric swelling? i have a nutrition bible if you want me to check it out for you let me know ... not liking the sound of that one
I don't want to take anything yet, El, because I have an appointment some time soon with a rheumatologist - I don't want to disguise the symptoms, I know it sounds a bit off, but I need all the help I can get from the NHS first. I have Patrick Holford's first book, The Optimum Nutrition Bible - hadn't thought of checking that actually, thank you for the idea!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
yep thats the one i have too ... and good idea on the holding off taking things ... they do need to see it when its bad ... and disguising only holds the pain off for so long0
