Thanks guys! I realised while I was out and about that six months time is Christmas! And you know, the world can change between now and then. And my world will change, no more of this.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
What a terrible way to say it to you....but at least you have the all clear...so that's good..can't blame you putting a complaint in though.
seems scary that christmas is only 6 months away...0 -
Its true, its the all clear that matters. I feel like I've been very, very lucky - yes, I stopped sunbathing at the very beginning of my adult life, but even tho there are so many different skin conditions I've got that she identified, none are truly problematic. All this fuss by me, and there you are getting on with it in such difficult times for you .... I really admire your approach.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

You have been lucky and you are perfectly entitled to make a fuss.
I have no doubt that you would get on with it as well..I'm sure most people get on with it as we have to.0 -
 waves at Fay and Taxi from last night. Thank you for the to-and-fro Taxi, I appreciated it.
Today, the most I'm going to be doing outside is watering the containers - in fact, I better do that before I look at any other threads, didn't do them at all yesterday, it got away from me once I got back here.
As for the rest - staying inside, finishing jobs off, I've got a lot of stuff half done, so absolutely everywhere is in a mess - so its about tidying, repotting, taking the recycling down to the bin, crushing eggshells, taking photos of things to sell so I can put them away, taking photos of things to take to charity shops, all that sort of thing.
I'm dreading tomorrow (out in Hyde Park all afternoon with Sir Paul) but since right now its just gone quite hazy here, I'm hoping tomorrow's forecast is a bit off as well. I just bought factor 50 sunblock tho - I'm ready, this time
:D:D

glad to hear you have the all clear mrs ... it is a bit worrying isnt it ... last week i went back to the drs demanding he check me as i have had pre cancer cells before and was having similar type things happen ... thankfully i am clear of the pre cancer but have to deal with the rest ... but it is so much better to get these things checked out0

Yep, I *think* I do El - between not trusting her completely, and wanting an X ray for my foot, I'm not sure whether to try to make yet another appointment to get things checked out. Or I could phone and ask for another x ray referral, and trust her on the skin cancer thing. She probably knew her stuff, but she was so unpleasant, its difficult to accept her word. Plus my mum had skin cancer last year, and the tumour went so deep she had to have plastic surgery, and the only thing that showed up was a red patch, literally, it wasn't even raised. So how can this woman tell I don't have skin cancer? Okay, that sounds like the infamous "worried well" we used to hear so much of when HIV first got going
I think I'd better shut up

I can't resist dfw work :rotfl: I logged on to my mystery shop accounts, as I do every day, and found I'd got an email to send, so I've printed out the gubbins and will do that in a sec. Meanwhile, I decided to play a game of bingo with scratchcard money on b u tlins, which I do about once a fortnight - got a single 5p ticket - and won! Thats £12 withdrawn, hurray :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0

If you are not confident please go for a 2nd opinion...was it a GP you saw or a proper skin cancer consultant?
Well done on MSE money x0
