Yep ... and afterwards, a lay in the bath, which was lovely. More decluttering of the food cupboards going on - including another glass from that bottle of cava :)

I back, I survived the course. It was actually very good as our tutor hurt his leg so the Cett director stood in and he's a psychologist, although no longer practising, and his knowledge and skill stood out a mile.

Having to declutter as we got a puppy (called Dave) at the weekend, so I am having to think about what is on the floor!

Any ideas on timescales for the move yet?

:o Not too much, no - this is just about food thats been sitting in the cupboard for heaven knows how long - dried beans, white wine vinegar, nutmeg, tempura batter (!) - its okay to be used, but I don't want to take it to the new house, so I'm having my own little storecupboard challenge :o

Hope your night was okay, Taxi, I'm off to check on your diary just now.

I'm glad the course turned out to be good, Pippajo - CPD is often very hit and miss, I find.

You're getting a puppy :j I may have to come visit :D good luck with decluttering, now thats a *real* reason to declutter :rotfl:

We've got him already, DH could not leave him there, we just wish we could have found a home for his sister. The pups were an accident and havent sold, and the owners are just about to have a baby, so i think it all got too much space wise and cost wise.

I must take some pics and I'll put them on FB. At the moment he looks like a Doberman with a really long tail. Going to try and get him in the vets today as he hasn't had any jabs.

Ooh yes, facebook piccies please! It sounds like he's going to be a very loved little puppy :)

I'm just fiddling about with the paperwork for a mystery shop this afternoon - I've only done one of these before, and it took me twice as long as they say on this paperwork - I'm determined not to waste too much time there.

Otherwise, today, I really need to pull up some more valerian - its the valerian that got its roots into the collapsed wall, and its buckled the paving at the back too, so I have to be really careful. Should only take a few minutes. And I'd better put those cuttings I took yesterday in a sunny place - its cracking the flags right now :)

Hooray for planning the new garden - very exciting! I loved the Edible Garden programme - must see if there's a book. I definitely recommend a container full of peas for pea top salads, yummy!

Hi Squizz! Yes, thats on the list. I've been mucking about with the list on a draft email - not sending it means I can play with it all the time :) - in relation to taking notes, I'm up to programme 4, on flowers, which is what you did, isn't it? Used some flowers in a salad?

Yes have used flowers although there's not much out at the moment, have used a few dandelion ones. Used nasturtium leaves the other day but the flowers aren't out yet.

And yes there is a book... :D
