    Well I've just stopped working.

I got most of the cross ref done, but the online stage 1 of the course for tomorrow was a nightmare, its CPD as well as coaching but their website and online system is appalling, and I've posted on the forum to say so. If I ran my business like they run theirs I'd be gone in about 2 weeks!

    And no cheque

 to Nationwide - have they agreed it now though? You may be better to look elsewhere for a deal.

Thats a looooonnnnnng day, Pippajo, and no cheque with it :(

About the Nationwide - 2.5% is tough to beat, as an interest rate to be charged, and the fee is tiny, just a setup fee - because the mortgage is so small, any fee at all really hikes up the APR. Anyway, it'll be gone soon - I might see if I can throw a *lot* of overpayments at it from dfw work.... we'll see. Tonight, I actually did something I haven't done for about 2 years, and opened a bottle of cava - in the spirit of decluttering, of course :D I can't take a bottle of £4 Tesco cava with me to the new house :D:D:D

I had a Budweiser, didn't want to open wine, might have drunk it all and not got up this morning! I'm not really a drinker at all.

Carried on working last night on my other business as "things" were happending that needed dealing with. I just love a trouble maker (not against me, but against the contractor) but this is the first time we have got evidence in writing, good old FB. The bosses can sort it today, I just kept firing emails to them late last night which I'm sure they got an Blackberrys :D. If I'm working so should they :A

Well done on the interest rate. It is a good one for a "new" home. do you know how much you can overpay, can you pay in bits or have to save up to do a lump sum?

Off on this stupid course shortly so must jump in the shower, they are not my favourite people today, as you will see from my comments on hypnos diary

i love the decluttering skills kc .... thats a mighty fine percentage to pay for interest i'm with them and stuck on a 4.69% till next march and i have no doubt it might double by that time ...

Nor me ... I still love the taste, but even a regular single glass would be too much for me.

Its their standard variable, tbh - I can overpay anything at any time. And I will, I wasn't happy about certain snarky comments when I checked about STD phone numbers for the mortgage centre.

    :D:D:D I'm a known declutterer now, I have a rep to maintain

Overgrown. The brambles are almost under control, but the snowberries are rampant, and the grass is too (amongst the perennials ) tho I did use the shears yesterday on the grassy area - I'll rake that up early this evening and chuck it in the rubbish bin - its got loads and loads of dandelion seeds in, no one would thank me for composting it.

I try! I feel like I don't do nearly enough, but I just can't wait to get to a *flat* garden - I'll plant comfrey in the front, so I can make my own liquid fertiliser, get some perennial fruit in, get the herbs going, I'll be away :j

That does sound like a really good deal, and great you've already got a plan to get it paid off fast.

Yep, I think so, though there are some upsets along the way, like with the Nationwide last night. I don't know whether there's been another one this morning - my first viewing on the place I'm buying was with another estate agent, and they've just phoned up - its obvious they feel the new estate agent poached me, though I viewed the house the 2nd time only because the new lot dropped the starting price and put it up again on rightmove.

He obviously found the conversation a bit difficult himself - once somebody actually verbalises the phrase "our goodselves", you know they've got problems :( but I told him I wasn't speaking with him any longer, its not for me to look after the interests of various estate agents that the guy I'm buying from is hiring ... felt very unpleasant afterwards, tho.

Don't worry about it that is definitely not your problem :)

I am sure you will find plenty of other things to worry about :rotfl:

No really just do what you have to do and let everyone else worry about their problems.
