Worst Drivers..

As soon as i saw the title of this thread, even before i started to read it, i knew taxi drivers would get slated.
Well i drove a black cab for over 25 yrs and yes some of them are rubbish but there are plenty of others who are worse, men; women; white vans; boy racers; police. It's the individual who is good or bad irrespective of what they do.
When i was driving my cab i probably averaged about 1000 miles a week, the average motorist does what about 8000 a year, so yes taxi drivers do make mistakes, but their licence is worth a lot to them and i think mile for mile they are a lot better than the average motorist.
Cabbies and scabbies are much maligned (and rightly so) but you're often grateful as a paasenger when they viciously cut up the car in front to get you to your destination 2 seconds ahead of schedule. The man without a signature.0 -
The 'I'll only be minute' brigade (inc school run parents here) who think that as they won't be long they can hold the rest of the traffic up!0

In my local town cars park in the bus lane when it's supposed to be in use. Add these and the Traffic Wardens to the list!0 -
I'm off to bed now and look forward to the next 24 hours input when I get in from work tomorrow night! Maybe we will have worked out the worst 'category' by then!Genie

the lazy sods who live within a mile radius of work and drive in daily clogging up the roads for the rest of us who have to drive miles in, im talking bout the 9-5 people!
If you live within a 1-2 mile radius you should get charged £2 a day for driving in the town centre!:mad: walk or get the bus, i wish i had the luxury of living so close, people in my work place a re fit able body people who are to lazy to walk or get the bus.
Talking of buses, why do bus drivers find it acceptable just to pull out straight in front of you nearly causing an accident, this morning one bus pulled out to cross my lane turning right and i nearly went in to the side of it, had to do an emergency stop , he saw how close i was and still went for it, luckily we were in a 30 zone
School run mums seem to be completely oblivious of other road users and pedestrians, they park where they want, and drive thru my village fast in the middle of the road
and breath............ ahhhhhhh0 -
