Within every category there are bad drivers, whether it be boy racers, old men, mums, grannies, bmw drivers, whatever.

Everyone could pick someone in a category who drives badly and cite an example from their own experience

What about people in really tiny narrow cars, I'd name some but they have really odd names that I can't pronounce or spell, they can't get through gaps that you could get a double decker bus through!

Mum's on school run are still top of my list at the moment - I guess it is because they make my morning commute such a nightmare. Most of them seem to be using mobile phones at the same time as driving and yelling at the brats.

I also dislike men that drive with their elbows resting and sticking out of the window, but they are not necessarily bad drivers, just stupid looking.

As soon as i saw the title of this thread, even before i started to read it, i knew taxi drivers would get slated.
Well i drove a black cab for over 25 yrs and yes some of them are rubbish but there are plenty of others who are worse, men; women; white vans; boy racers; police. It's the individual who is good or bad irrespective of what they do.
When i was driving my cab i probably averaged about 1000 miles a week, the average motorist does what about 8000 a year, so yes taxi drivers do make mistakes, but their licence is worth a lot to them and i think mile for mile they are a lot better than the average motorist.

And its usually a Metro that they are driving, with a tartan blanket and a box of tissues on the parcel shelf. Think I have just described Goldspangles... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That's when it's cold outside. I can assure you that mine has worked on at least 2 known ocassions.

I put taxi drivers in because previous 'alleged surveys' used to have them at the top until Mums on school run took over. Black cabs are in a different class - in my opinion, for what it counts! Its all that 'knowledge' - I couldn't do that for love nor money.
