I would just like to if you do choose a solicitor just make sure you get a upfront cost because they do the same type of thing as itc where they say it will cost X% of the estate then after completing probate you get a bill for telephone calls letters being sent and other areas so just be careful.0

Does anyone know why HBOSBAC.NET redirects to ITC Legal services website?

...And, if you've ever had trouble with the Experian Credit rating company in the past, guess who was in charge there before moving to ITC??
I suppose his next idea is to take on the "deceased customers' accounts at HBOS as he has at Barclays, thereby drawing more unsuspecting families into his evil company's clutches.Note to Self: When posting, remember to keep within "forum rules" to avoid upsetting other "interested parties"0 -
Hi,
Since it is obvious that so very many people have been and are being caught out by ITC Legal Services shockingly bad service, can I ask that as many of us as possible now take the time to contact BBC's Watchdog which is returning in the spring of this year. The link is below:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/gotastory/
I am about to email them and I'm sure that if more of us do so, the BBC will notice the complaints are all similar. Who knows, Martin Trees may even have the courage to face Anne Robinson and lie to her!Note to Self: When posting, remember to keep within "forum rules" to avoid upsetting other "interested parties"0 -
I will certainly join you in writing to watchdog. Lets hope they take up the case and name and shame ITC for all the bereaved people that have had deal with them.0

None of the 4 directors have any background in probate. They all come from the financial world.0 -

It seems the net of BAC and BAS (Bereavement Advice Centre and Bereavement Advice Service) which, as we all know, are funded and under the same address as ITC, is now being cast everywhere. I still cannot believe that any of the Banks/ insurance companies that are now in partnership with ITC are ok to be promoting and working alongside an UNREGULATED company. Are they aware??? This just baffles me0 -
BosBac.com also redirects to ITC Legal Services.
But, when you do a Whois search, Mr Trees address is in Jersey??0 -
I would like to share my experience with you. I have been a keen user of MSE for a number of years now, after being put onto it by my dad, however I never had the urge to correspond. Tragically, I lost my dad in a road traffic accident in February 2008 and through my sister had the misfortune to meet with ITC representative. I have found some bizarre comfort in reading the posts on here, in that I, like many of you, consider myself to be of reasonable intelligence and was exploited when at my most vulnerable. To date the accounts are still not resolved after nearly 24 months. Throughout our nightmare dealing with ITC they have provided the worst customer service that I have ever experienced from any company and did not provide full disclosure of potential costs at the outset, their final account was treble what I had anticipated. I don’t want to bore you with all the details, suffice to say that the estate was concluded in December but the administration costs and disbursements are so outrageous that I wrote to them asking for an explanation and complaining about their company. I have now asked that the matter be passed to the company chief executive, as per their complaints procedure. However, I do not know where I can go next as ITC is not regulated, or answerable to anybody. Now that I have posted on here should I expect a call from the infamous Mr Trees?0
