hi piz buin is only £3.99 for the 1 applicatin 10 hour protection factor 4 or 30 spf in semi-chem . think it is one week only

Hi, it was on at superdrug for BOGOF not sure if it still is but i know the low factor 4 was only £4-99 the others where about £9 i think, also TJ Hughes sells it for £4-99 i think

Just some info:

SPF - sun protection factor.

This is the number of times increase that the cream gives your skin. The average skin will burn in 15 minutes

SPF 4 - 60 mniutes

SPF 40 - 600 minutes

So if you get all day protection cream it means the cream will last all day on the skin but you won't be protected for 12 hours!!

i.e SPF 4 = 1 hour before burn. So, you can stay in the sun for 1 hour then seek shade.

My advice - if your out all day hiking etc you should use SPF 50/60. You are uspposed to reapply every 2 hours but to be honest I find that factor 50 lasts me all day even in 50 degrees heat of Tunisia!!
