Tunisia is latitude 33 and roughly the same exposure times as detailed here would be desirable for Vitamin D3 production, bearing in mind that Australian summer is our and Tunisia's winter.

Others reading that a certain percentage of UV rays can penetrate sunscreen shouldn't think that this means vitamin d production continues while wearing sunscreen. IT DOESN'T. There are both UVA and UVB rays and it's the UVB you need for vitamin d3 and ALL of these will be blocked. You must assume that if you've applied sunscreen no vitamin d3 systhesis will occur at all and the 4000iu your body needs each day will have to be provided by supplements as it's impossible to get that amount from food sources.

It is therefore very important that around 20minutes full body exposure to sunlight is regularly available to you and your children to PROTECT them from CANCER and MS.
