    Rushed out to Superdrug yesterday (no savers near here) & got 2 x factor 15, 1 x 30 & 1 x 8. Then 10% off - very pleasing.

Used to use P20 also - but found I stained a lot of stuff with it.

A SA in Boots mentioned the P20 and said they don't sell it any more as it wasn't protecting or something like that..I was overhearing her telling a customer..Don't know how true that is...
Great spot for the Biz Buin
    Thanks
My sister asked for it in Boots a year or two ago and was told they have stopped selling it because of no UVA/UVB protection.

    Thanks for the post.

I just got a couple of the 100ml SPF 30 tubes this afternoon at £12.49 for one.

I noticed you can get the 200ml bottle of it in Boots for £19.49 so it's a £7 saving really, but still very good.

Used Puiz Bruin last year and was very happy with it. Looking to use it again this year when we're off to Florida.

Anyone know if there are any Saver stores in Liverpool.

    Hi,
I realise this isn't the 'home bargains' thread. but just wanted to say they DID have it last week at £4.99 at the same time as Boots were displaying it at £14.99!!! £10 difference on one item - the mind boggles!!! Sallysaver

Its a bit like a superdrug and boots. Just a cheaper version with no pharmacy. They sell all sorts.

Just to clear up some of the questions posted on this thread as there are more than one type of long-lasting Piz Buin sun protection:

The Piz Buin sold in Savers at £4.99 is the '1 Day Long' product.
    • It is a cream that comes in a 100ml tube (not aerosol/mousse).
    • It is white - so should not stain clothes
    • It comes in various SPFs up to 30 - This refers to the UVB protection - so the SPF30 is fine even for very fair skin.
    • It has 3 star UVB protection (out of a maximum of 5 possible stars) - UVB is the one that causes premature ageing and skin cancer
    • 1 application lasts 10 hours (when applied according to the instructions)
    • It needs to be applied only 20 minutes before sun exposure (not 90mins as stated above)

My husband had a malignant melanoma 10 years ago (when he was only 30) and ever since, we have been very cautious about sun exposure ourselves and particularly for our kids. It is the sun damage caused in our early years that increase our risk later in life.

I highly recommend investing in sun-protection suits for your young children as they give total protection and minimise the skin area that needs sun cream anyway -so great for kids with sensitive skin/eczma.

This year Adams have a great range of sun suits in ages up to 10 years. Last year they only went up to age 4. They are in cool designs that most kids would be happy to wear and cost £9-£15 each depending on the size and style. The ones for older ages are two-piece - so buy a size up and it will last for 2 years. Don't forget that 500 Nectar points are worth £5 at Adams - so save up your points and get the sun suits free as I have.

It being white has no difference on whether it stains clothes or not.

I've had my clothes stained by lots of white sun creams.
