Tesco Fuel Gripe

I owned a Volvo until last year, using the club forum in the process - a lot of owners complained about supermarket petrol-especially those owners with uiprated turbo's, modified engines, etc.
I've had several cars and most haven't liked Tesco petrol. Asda hasnt appeared to be as poor. My old Saab 900 turbo runs better on super unleaded - but paying extra for Tesco's super is a complete waste of money - my local Total is 5 mins from the nearest Tesco ( we are getting a 3rd store within 10mins drive!! ), they're fuel is priced the same and yes- the forecourt is always deserted!!
Regarding Tesco's price policy - we noticed my other half's fave two bottles of red went up 50p a botlle three wekks ago - Tesco then promote a wine event the following week - dropping the prices on both by 50P!!! The staff are rude, unhelpful..I could go on!!0 -

It's been a long running debate but I seem to get better mileage on an almost identical long trip from using Esso as opposed to Tesco fuel.0 -
I only use fuel from Tesco (for the Clubcard points) and Morrisons (for the Morrisons Miles). I have noticed that all the Morrisons around me are charging 102.9p for petrol at the moment whereas the Tesco down the road is charging 106.9p. I tend not to agree with the 'local competition' aspect of it when you see things like that.0
