  • MM Mine had always been bad, so bad I missed Uni some days until I Got the implant, it seemed to help. So I know exactly how you feel. My mum once had to call g.docs in the middle of the night and the doc asked my mum if he could speak to me as he had a personal question to ask (I was about 13) Could I be pregnant and in Labour:eek: thats how bad it was so I really do know how your feeling. sending you painfree (((((hugs))))

  • Sami - where are you going?

Just popping in quickly before i pass out in bed. Have only just finished sorting the kitchen out, ironing labels onto Izzy's clothes and packing stuff. My knees are really complaining at me now. if I'm buzzing round like a blue assed fly doing housework I must remember to put my shoes back on. (knee problems are due to dodgy feet, so I need the support in my shoes.)

MM ((hugs)) im on the depo for that reason ... hardly any pain and no period ... go to your gp im sure they'll sort it for you x

That was exactly the reason I was on it... the reason I came off it (both times) was the weight gain - 2 stone in 3 months both times... The second surgery wouldn't believe me when I told them it had happened the first time... I was trying to loose weight the second time and was going to Slimming world so had a really accurate food diary which I took with me when I discussed the weight gain... as I should have been loosing weight and certainly not putting it on they agreed that just maybe it Depo had something to do with it...
I'd never go back on it and think that whilst it's great people should be warned about the possible side effects better!

Tine - that's why I keep it under my hat as I know it excites strong opinions.

I have my reasons you have your reasons and there we shall leave it.

Sami - I love the Lakes - will you be going to Cartmel and sampling the sticky toffee pudding?
