TFW - Toddler Feeding Weirdo comes from another forum I am a member of - we call ourselves weirdos as feeding a child of DD's age is seen as weird by some sections of society.
I added the Toilet Trained bit with she trained herself.
I'm proud of my achievement and it's my quiet coded way of celebrating it, hopefully without offending mum's who made different decisions to me.
I don't go on about it as I have found bf easy but I understand that some mum's aren't as fortunate as me so I don't want to upset them.
The bit about dreams coming true (eventually!) comes from the fact that I dreamed of having a child for 8 years and had all kinds of trials and tribulations to get eventually meet her.
ETA:
Lu - I think it was just luck she started putting herself on the potty when running round after a bath, then we figured out what patty her nappy meant (need the loo mum!) she's been dry in the day since April, she's almost ready to go without nappies at night too - but leaving that until we return off our holidays.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Caz - it all up to mother nature/God, I have PCOS which for me means no ovulation, weight and excess hair issues.
Which is why I'm so chuffed I can bf.
When I got my BFP I was just about to start researching the adoption process.Proud to be dealing with my debts

well you deserve every second of your happiness! we are very lucky that we managed to have 5 children but i do know a few people that cannot fall pregnant and its heartbreaking.
for nighttime we found that their nighttime nappies were still dry so just stopped putting them on! the only time we had any problems were when they were ill and had calpol as it seemed to put them in too deep a sleep? What's for you won't go past you0 -
It took my mum nearly 9 years to get pregnant with my sister, and then she conceived me really easily after 17 months. Docs couldnt find anything wrong though. She had a D & C every year to help, but nothing seemed to work, so she had given up hope.
I think it was the acceptance that it probably wouldnt happen that helped her, she said she stopped stressing every month when her period cameThe two best things I have done with my life

That's a lovely story MDW. So pleased for you. SIL has PCOS and is 36 weeks pregnant with #2 after a wait of about 3 years and some help (clomid). It's so nice when things work out.
DH works with someone who has just gone on adoption leave and they are also delighted. However you get your children, you love them just as much xxMSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090 -

We had already bought 'big girl's pants' and when she'd had a good run of dry nappies, talked to her about wearing them at night. We still leave a potty in her room just in case (she's been dry overnight since the start of the year). Sometime she just feels like going in her potty. Yesterday she came down from her nap to annouce she'd done a "pineapple poo" in her potty. No idea where that came from! She'd been to the loo before she went for the nap. DH dealt with it, so don't know what she was talking about?!MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090
