  • Evening All.

Just caught up - no chance of remembering anything so Congrat, Hugs, Good Luck and Well Done's were needed.

DD has come down with a horrible cold, eyes and nose are like taps!! Hope she feels better by Saturday, dosed her up, slapped on some Snufflebabe, sprinkled some Children's Olbas oil, bf and cuddles have put her in the land of nod.

Last bits of packing tonight, we need an early night tomorrow as we're aiming to be on the road by 5am.

DD had a good day though spent it with her grandma and grandad - toddler group this morning then a Wacky Warehouse for her lunch - had a fab time as the pub also had a bouncy castle in the garden.

Made the Norwegian Fish Pie from Economy Gastronomy for tea - I had all the ingredients in the house - it was scrummy.

Mum has made the beef pasties from it but overestimated on the filling so we've got it for tea tomorrow - cheaper than a takeaway.

hot honey and lemon works a treat - boil up half a lemon in a cup full of boiling water and add a big glug of honey.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Never, ever get a pinyata for kids!!! I'd say they were like animals, but the animal world has some order to it, this was just mayhem!!! DS1 had fun and there were only two injuries and minor at that. Pass the parcel with 'dares' was a huge hit. In each layer you put a dare, for example 'say Red lorry, yellow lorry 5 times really fast' or 'you are a pirate and you've lost your parrot'. They had a laugh and I wish I had done more (they kept asking to play it again).

I took my mum home and left DH with the kids to come home in my car (DH was working hence we both had our cars there, the party was in the coffee shop) because his Aunt was coming... with her mother!!! I take back what I said earlier, Aunts mother is the nastiest old ***** in the universe so I ran away!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Quick coffee in peace... nope that them bqck!
