Just a quick hi to everyone before I run off to collect DS1 and then entertain a group of 20 or so 8 year olds

Met the rudest elderly woman every in the bakers today! DS2 was picking what he wanted, me saying 'sausage roll, pie, bridie etc' and him saying onion pie (he says it nunn-ei) so then I ask him 'hot or cold' and he says cold (oll). So this old bat pipes up that he should be able to speak correctly at his size and I must be letting him sit infront of the tv all day!:mad::mad: I made a bit of a scene and yelled at her 'Excuse me?!?! ' (universal code for any more and I'll pan yer face!) I was soooo mad!!! She left in a big huff with mutterings (but not to me face) about disgraceful. We had to then pick a cake and I was still shaking when I got home.

    What a f*****g b**ch!!!!!!!!!!!

    I've had that happen. :(

    Hope DS didn't understand. X
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p

  • Did I ever tell you about Caitlyn's eye? It got ever so snotty despite regular booby juice and cooled boiled water bathes... I asked the health visitor to look at it and she said she'd do a script (without swabbing or anything...) Had to wait for 3 days for the script... They're all nothing of not incompetent down there.... Anyway, got antibiotic drops for her, but by the time I got the script it was looking a little better so I thought I'd leave it just another day or two... It cleared up completely on its own...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Right, DLA form done - got cramp in my hand now, haven't handwritten that much in ages! :(

Now, away to the Post Office (well, big sorting office town where the post is collected at 7pm), then Tesco.. Don't want anything, just fancy a mooch..

Dinner was a better success tonight.

I made toad in the hole, mash and peas. She ate some peas, all of her sausage, didn't want to eat the mash, don't think she is that keen on it, and she didn't want the pastry but was eating it unknowingly when it was stuck to her sausage. She also took half a sausage off my plate, and OH's.

When I picked her up at nursery they were just finishing their snack, I almost died of suprise, there she was tucking into pineapple, and had just eaten two fish fingers. She doesn't eat things like that when I give her them!

She's also eaten a yoghurt, piece of toast, some rice krispies and a banana today too. So I'm pleased she's had a bit of variety today! I'll cut up an apple later before her bed for "supper" and hopefully that will stop her triping on about being hungry at 2am!

When I took her to nursery today, we took the bus and she was sitting on my lap, because there was only seat at the front and it's only a few stops, anyhow, she let off about 4 big trumps, and jesus they stunk! She then shouted out "MUUUUM YOUR FARTS STINK!" The little liar, I went beetroot.
  • Elle, well done on the forms. I don't envy you, they are quite a challenge.

 i'd have been sorely tempted to smack her one, elderly or not!!

feeling a bit better now, OH took me for lunch and seth was good for once. popped in my old work and someone asked me how long i've got left of leave and i managed to hold it together just about without looking like a complete muppet lol! on a positive level, there is a waiting job going in a local pub with 1 day and 3 evenings, which could be a much better option, i wouldnt miss out on much time with seth then and hopefully OH's day off could be the day i work. going to give the CAB a call tomorrow and hopefully make an appointment for next thursday, OH's next weekday off.

Don't suppose they're taking into account that you might need a bigger car..

Maybe - although really I would think cars are luxuries rather than essentials. I did have to change mine when I was expecting Charlotte as I had a 4 seater sporty Puma, so we wouldn't have had enough seats and it was tight getting into the back so it would have been a nightmare strapping a baby seat in there!

I wish I'd seen your face at the fart comment Button :rotfl:You might find she suddenly eats more if she see's other children eating food at nursery. I was in school as a parent helper and they were learning about Diwali and the teacher had some samples of Indian snacks to pass round - bahjis, samosas, pakora - that kind of thing. Loads twisted their faces at first, but once a few started eat them, most of the bairns joined in!
Here I go again on my own....
