nooo you MUST dress up! even if it's just wearing a black dress with some cat ears and eye liner whiskers!!!
I'm sure I quoted someone else!

uurghh i'm shuddering at the thought... I really don't do fancy dress... let alone wear a dress! The only dress I have ever worn is my wedding dress and I most likely wear one ever again. (i'm too fat) I live in jeans!
My brother (who's best friends with the birthday girl) is going as a teenage mutant ninja turtle! The birthday girl is going as Jem (I loved that as a girl)

Am I the only one scared of a big meet? :o Brum is 2.5hrs from me.

in my head, a big meet is a bit easier than just a couple of people. big meet means more people - more talking, no ackward silences!!!!
I almost think a big meet would be easier, there should be at least one person who will talk to me that way :p

    here here!! :)
    Carla-Farla!! :)

I'm also back, but had to go to school run, and make tea before coming here.

I was so proud of myself for getting there without the help of the irritating sat-nav lady! However, I got a little bit lost going home and went via Liverpool. There's probably not much difference in time/miles, but it meant I had to pay tunnel tolls - so not the :money:way!

I really hate the lady who does the sat nav in hubbys car  so much he has turned her off to stop me whinging about her :rotfl::rotfl:

I copped a feel of MFD's muslins  and can confirm they're much softer than my Asda and Babies R Us ones. Even the unironed one!

HEY LADY!!!! I ironed a Muslin ESPECIALLY FOR YOU!!! I even kept it in my bag and didn't use it.
Sami got offered a banana smeared one :D
Do I look like a lady who can be ars3d ironing muslins on a day to day basis ;)
    :rotfl:

It was lovely to see all the lovely ladies and babies again! Glams Jack is gorgeous - but so tiny I was a little scared of him! :o
And lovely to see Sparkle & Lexi - she's been awol for a while, but has just been busy with family [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] stuff!.

Violet and Benjamin were so cute touching each others hands :D She is just a beauty!

MFD - Was I too late for kisses? ;)

I bottled it!! Sami got one because she leaned in ;)

Well actually I think she was leaning down to talk to Benjamin but I spotted my opportunity and leapt into action ;) :rotfl:

Sami - I don't think anyone saw Mr Glam unless they saw us through the windows as we left! The little !!!!!! was outside the cafe waiting for me, he said 'I went to walk in and there was loads of you so I got embarrassed!' (I did notice he had taken his jacket off to show off his biceps though :p)

I spied your handsome chappie ;)

    Evening All,

Was lovely to see everyone at the sling meet again today and also nice to meet MFD and Oh So Cute Benjamin! Glam - Jack is adorable and has managed to make me Broody all over again. 3 - Violet is just lovely, would be nice to see all the babies on the floor playing together. Fritha - Thanks once again for organing the meet. MFD - Congratulations once again, You did look rather emotional when you found out. Was so nice to meet you and Benjamin, he has lovely eyes. Sami - You already know how cute Christopher and Ed are, but they really are Chris is so well behaved too!

:o I am so sorry Sparkle :o I didn't really clock that you were you until I had already been talking to you and I didn't want to embarrass myself by saying ' OMG I know who you are now' :rotfl:

Although, I will not be sitting anywhere near you again if you are bringing your angel child with you ;):D

Lexi was beautifully behaved all the time we were there. Not that the others weren't but all the other biggies (Jack and Ed excepted!) got a bit shouty at times - Lexi was just gorgeous all the way through :D

3+ hrs on the train and £54.50 for me.. Would rather drive!

I'd be 5hrs on the train, OH just said Birmingham would be ok if I stayed south, took him 3hrs in August but was the Bristol M5 that slowed him down. If I came up the night before I would use the Holiday Inn special offer. £32 seems about the going rate for a room.
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Choppy, that's great... Relaxed is definitely the way to go with babies... I'm sure a few more relaxed feeds will get rid of them :D Is she feeding very snacky at the moment? Lots of watery milk from the beginning of a feed can lead to frothy green nappies... If you find she feeds on and off, try just offering one side for a couple of feeds rather than swapping so she gets the fattier milk... Hope her tummy is good for your hols, it looks a gorgeous place!!

Look what I'm getting from BB :D:D:D:D http://www.cheekywipes.com/baby-wipes-kit.html
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p
  • Has anyone ever had a MW app where your baby has needed a feed at the same time? Are they capable of heating a bottle if I take one along, otherwise what do I do?

    Thanks,

    Bearx
