tara, I'm already going to fly over at some point, so we could all have a wee meet up at the airport !! ;)

To whom, and when??? ish! :p Been in discussion with my children about flying to you, seems if I do it's just me and Maddy.

As for the middle, Birmingham is about 2.5hrs. But I'm up for a hotel stay. :T
Too many children, too little time!!!

  • If I post some pics for the kids to see all the beaches, and there is a forest straight across the road from my house, would that change their mind tara ??? lol

Choppy, how's Caitlin? How's the feeding going?

Really well at the moment, thank you. I have 12oz of expressed sat in the fridge for her, which would have been unthinkable a few weeks ago. At this rate I might have to start freezing some :D

Most days I've managed to cut the formula down to one bottle a day (instead of two) but if I do run out of EBM, then she has a second bottle. The rest of the day I booby feed her. Oh, also, even though the lady at booby club couldn't help with getting rid of the nipple shields, Caitlin is starting to manage it herself :T

On Friday morning, I was laying in bed with her and after she'd finished feeding I took the shield away and just left my boob out. After a while she started rooting so I grabbed my boob and put in her mouth. She kept coming off it, but then fed for 5mins :D. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but it is for Caitlin without the shields. I've managed to get her to feed without them three times (once for 20mins) so we're getting there slowly.

Overall, she's fine thank you, although I'm not sure if she's got a bit of a poorly tummy. She had a dirty nappy earlier and it was bright green and very runny (like water), so I need to keep an eye on that.

We're going away on Fri for a long weekend (to here :j), then the following weekend we're going away for two more weeks so if she is poorly, it would be good to get it out of her system before then.

Ben has decided that planes are scary , must be his new found fear of heights or something, and Erin is looking at this on her way to bed saying she might. She thought it was a long drive but I've just explained!

Craig is off work all week. I went to work this morning, came home and he'd done all the ironing, put the bed linen in the washing machine and was making mince and dumplings for tea. I could get used to this :D

Not fair Himself is off work all week and I had to make my own tea! (He did really tidy the very very very very untidy dining room but still... ;))

Brilliant idea Sami - we should make our babies look silly at every opportunity before they get big enough to object! :rotfl:

And thanks Fritha - after observing you tieing Sami up , I realised where Violets legs are meant to be in mine! She was so much more comfy on the way home! :o

I'd meet up for Christmas, and I'm more than happy to dress my child up!

I didn't really speak to you today 3 so hello *waves* as a quick guide they should be 'sat' in the sling so their knees are higher than their hips, it's the big plus of a fabric sling over a BB et al as they sit better in them and the splayed legs are better for hip development :-)

Fritha - I must remember 'Wrapsody' - I liked the way it could be worn the way I did today but also like u showed me before!

Any wrap is like that, they've got a bigger learning curve but they're very versatile. The one you tried is a stretchy wrap which is a little more forgiving and easier to faff with ime. There are other brands of stretchy wrap though but the wrapsody has slightly less stretch in it so you can use it for longer!

Which reminds me, I didn't get to speak to you again Sami as I had to charge off but did you get chance to try with the stretchy wrap? And the one you tried on was my muchly covetted joey sling (I wear it often!)

*Whispers to Choppy* yeah but no-one mentioned it so I don't think they liked the idea.

I didn't see that post! I do tend to skim when I have more than 10 pages to catch up on!

    Where is halfway for everyone?!!

I'd be up for a bit of travelling - we could come on the train
Tara, I'm all for a middle meet... What with being near enough in the middle

Birmingham is about 65 miles, so about 1.25 hours for me. What about everyone else?

Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaasssssssse don't arrange it for when I'm on holiday as I'll cry lots and lots and lots.
  • Carla, Mrs Moc lives in Belfast, shes not on much any more....must send her a FB message to see if she is OK
you would of course meet up with Glam and tara when they come over to visit, but that doesnt stop you coming to Ballymena to meet me !!

Is there anybody down in the south east who fancies a meet, you lot all seem to be north of birmingham.

Sorry Bailey, I didn't mean to miss you out of my massive multi-quote post. Would you be up for a middle-meet?
