Thanks Weezl found the pic of your birthing room whilst I was searching..

Weezl, please will you repost it? I'd love to see it!
Am I the first back again??? I live the furthest away by about an hour :rotfl::rotfl:

Lovely sling meet had by all. All babies were well behaved, if a little shouty!!

And best of all I got a voicemail telling me that we have got through to the next round of the tender process for my job

    From the top:

Look, I have a baby and a husband to take care of I can't be at mse's beck and call all the time you know ;-) Alternatively I've been catching up, not sure why but I like to read all the posts before I post :p

Very lovely time, many many mummies! I think I really need to find us a suitable venue before next time! My shouty baby is in bed, I think she was the tiniest bit tired!

And lastly very very well done that MFD!

I don't think anyone saw Mr Glam unless they saw us through the windows as we left!

Fritha - thanks for organising. Might wait til Jack's a bit bigger to get a sling althou I do like the green wrap sling ;)

I've seen Mr Glam, when we bumped into you at Asda I spied him hiding!

The green wrap is a wrapsody, I only started slinging Celia when she was ten weeks (I couldn't get to a sling meet until then as the nearest was in Liverpool until I set it up! Well I used a Wilkinet before then but it wasn't very comfortable!) so when he's bigger I'm grand at guiding, until then I appear to have developed minions who know what they're talking about! There's no rush to sling him though! And it does get eaiser with practice btw, I actually tied myself up in the wrapsody first time I put it on! I thought I was going to ahe to be cut out!

I got to smoosh Jack btw, he's teeny and gorgeous! The bonus of having a bash at knowing about slings!

*Whispers to Choppy* yeah but no-one mentioned it so I don't think they liked the idea.

Where are you, we could do our own! :D

I didn't see that post! I do tend to skim when I have more than 10 pages to catch up on!

Where is halfway for everyone?!!

I'd be up for a bit of travelling - we could come on the train :D

  • I'm the same Fritha, I like to catch up before I post...

Tara, I'm all for a middle meet... What with being near enough in the middle ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Is there anybody down in the south east who fancies a meet, you lot all seem to be north of birmingham.
