ps tigs what are the caffeine and salt for?
I don't know the technicalities, but the caffeine helps with Andrew's breathing, and the salt (well, it's pure NaCl) is added because he's too young/small right now to metabolise salt from my EBM.
But I just see it as him inheriting Marley's addiction to coffee, and my addiction to salt & vinegar crisps! :rotfl::heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Of course, as the Mrs of a soon to be PC, i shall spend the rest of my life driving at 29mph.
(Another reason to get married. I'm not actually a Mrs, but putting live-in-lover. girlfriend, partner, significant other, bird etc, all sounds silly!)

elle, from what I've found there's no specific evidence linking prematurity and co-sleeping specifically as risk factors. My guess is that they're saying, 'co-sleeping can be a risk, and with a premmie baby let's not add to the risk at all....' IYSWIM? Kinda like trying to reduce any possible risk?
From what I've read as well, lots of premmie babies don't take well to co-sleeping because they've gotten more used to their own space in the inci. I was like this (though only in mine for 4.5 weeks) whereas my brother was much more cuddly!
HTH?
