Morning all. My visions of a terrile night last night were only me being pessamistic. Izzy slept through till 6am, which I can live with seeing as the alarm goes off at 6:30. It has made the morning far less of a rush - I might even get to work on time. If not they will just need to wait for me
Send me not-weeping vibes, and I'll let you all know later how it goes!
I will be thinking of you all jelously at home while I'm working!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Morning!
Who are the not-weeping vibes for, ladybird? You or Izzy?
We had a better night than expected. The sleeping bag seemed to be a big hit; he looked so snug in it and has gone back off to sleep after each feed quite easily (usually he'd lie there and kick his sheets off )
For the mums who've recently experienced SCBU, I saw these awards mentioned in a magazine last night - Big Heart Awards 2010. Various categories for the mums, dads, families, babies themselves and the SCBU teams who've looked after them
weezl, in your research of SIDs, did you find why you shouldn't co-sleep with a prem or low birth weight baby?I read an article about it yesterday but it didn't explain any more. Thankyou x
No morning nap for me - my mum's coming round at 9am so I can go for my eye testShe said it's killed her not visiting over the weekend and she can see the difference in Rhys in a week (avatar is my MSN display pic too).
Hope everyone has a good day xx0 -
Will go and look at that Awards scheme, Elle. Ta for link.
Andrew seems far more settled on his Cpap now they've re-increased his caffeine & salt supplements - I have a coffee addict baby :rotfl:
He's put on another (almost) 4 ounces in 4 days, now weighs in at 2lb 6.5oz :j :j I bet they'll increase his EBM again:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I am finally getting round to doing my wedding album (3 years after the event) and was wondering if any of you know any nice romantic one liners I could put on the pages with the photos ?? TIA
What about little snippets from the vows 'from this day forward' then 'to have and to hold' 'forsaking all others':)Glam, I used infacol with Chris, there is also gripe water and dentinox drops both taste vile IMO and Chris agreed(Edgar refuses to swallow anything other than milk and if you try he'll just throw up on me as pay back *shakey fist smilie*
I like infacol because you only have to give a teeny bit (0.3ml) where as dentinox and gripe is something like 2.5 or 5ml. There is also coleif but thats £10 a bottle  (if you have a nice GP they'll prescribe it tho)
Welsh fairies have a barely used bottle of colief, still in date i think.....
We got on really well with gripe water here! Funny how they differ!
Bruno I really hope you got some sleep and that things are ok with you and OH.
I think you are very hands on as a dad because you have sensed that OH isn't coping and are looking to step in and fill up his 'parent quota' in the way he needs. Perhaps if OH seemed more happy and coping, you would back away a little, but my sense is that you won't do that until you're sure she'll step into the breech.
In the meantime, please keep coming and telling us all about it, it doesn't have to sound balanced! If we all took at complete face value everything we say about OHs being PITA then none of us would still be together! I really hope you cope ok with work after all the tiredness.
OH sounds angry with you and Elijah. Do you think she's cross with you both that she's here rather than in the states? I think it would be really good if she could tell you.
Have a lovely sling meet ladies. Sad I can't meet you.
OH and I are in a bit of a pickle at the moment, he is trying very hard to give me lots of rest, but I think he's gone too far and gotten overtired and is now taking that out on me which kinda defeats the purpose of being so giving in the first place. It's a pattern we get into regularly and I've said how I see it, and it would be better for him not to 'over-give'. I'm not sure if he can see it at the moment though...
Hope you all are having a lovely day.
Weezl xxx
